Why is EME and BHS discouraging teamwork with IoD?
After taking a break from Tera last year, I've returned a few weeks ago. I saw that Tera was having a double experience event and so I focused on leveling 5 new toons to 65 while also trying out the new ninja class.
Just today, I was doing my dailies and had someone ask to team while around highwatch. I gladly took the offer and we enjoyed the time shared since it made the experince fun and fast. And then it dawned on me...
Why are we being penalized if we team up to do VG dailies on IoD? Is this the future of Tera for casual players according to Ktera? They want us to focus on solo play to make the game feel more like GW2 or BnS? I really wish EME would make a statement about future designs of Tera so I would know if we're going to be pushed into future content like IoD ahead of time.

Tera has seen a terrible trend in solo content. NA didn't even get one of the solo dungeons that kTera had. For a social game (because honestly what else is an MMO supposed to be for?) there's too much stuff that you're forced to do alone and mindlessly grind.
Then I would not have to worry about spending money or wasting my time on content that will die due to poor decisions that will cause this game to bleed off current and future players.
So, I believe the BAMs on IoD were made in fact not to punish parties, but to not punish solo players. What I believe is a good idea of BHS, because content to do on groups still are the majority in this game and solo players deserve to have some pleasure too.
It punishes healers, sadly. Since they don't get partied up with as much.
On my mystic, I can kill just as fast as a ninja both in slaughter. Either the ninja i was observing was bad, or my contagion and thrall of wrath were just spot on. I can't say the same about priests though. But they were never meant to be solo play to begin with anyway.
How come its not punishing or forcing?
1.You can't choose which ones to do, so you can do it with a friend/s
2. If you lucky enough one of yours and friend( a single one) task are the same, you are forced to x2 of those meaningless kills
3. Bams don't even drop HP/Mana motes when you do them in party

The content might be faster for some classes when combined but there is still a bias against the concept of team content. The requirement for doubling the required kills is a slap to the normal design of an MMO. Why being artifically forced to take longer on content when played as a group? Why now and is this the future?
Indirectly this just means you can kill things more or less as quickly as if you were solo. So why party up anyway when you can just use some ninja/brawler alts to solo things quickly and be done with it. I'm not saying you're wrong, there's just more ways to look at it.
You're right in some cases but not all mystics will do that or perform that well or are geared enough.
People asked for solo content, this, and a couple other things, is what we got and will be getting. I'm not sure what's wrong with having some content that doesn't hurt solo players.
If you are on two nothing more fair than kill the double, in three kill the triple and so on. The unfair situation would be a party of 2 to 5 having to kill same amount of BAMs than a solo player.
If they allowed group play with the IoD BAMs the way they are now without scaling the kill count, people would just burn through their dailies too fast and cause too much inflation, just like the old TAR days.
So according to this if im in a party of 5 in instance I have to do it 5 times, right?
But wait I can't even party anymore, cos my tasks and friends' ones almost never the same

general distrust of other players skill levels
dislike of inane chatter
the challenge, no saves, no cheats, you screw up you die.
as to why BHS didn't give bonuses...these are supposed to take time, you're supposed to EARN the rewards...running a full group that can face roll those weak [filtered] bams would make the IoD VG quests a cakewalk. still are but at least if you group you have to kill more...which makes perfect sense...how the hell are you supposed to share kills you're supposed to kill yourself? you get a leg and the other player gets the head?
the quests state you are to kill 10 bams, not you and your friend or 4 friends...but you. really, is it so tough to actually work a little for rewards?
