I call this a very good marketing. Not really.
Actually it is good marketing. I have played many many mmo's * including final fantasy * where you pay 50.00 for a mount and guess what it is character bound not account bound. The free Wolf is a great promotion to get Tera Players to try something new and countless other mmo's do it as well.
I know about promotions, but what about play Tera and get something somewhere else? The promotions for Tera where or when? I said hundreds of times, BHS just looks for a Temporary marketing to make some money outta Tera and then moves on.
- no separate options outside of loot boxes
- no account-bound options
- if history is any indication, the premium air-wolves have a longer flight duration than the basic ones
So, query: who exactly green-lit this particular idea?

First off Tera has been out a while, there is no reason to market it. The game they are marketing is new, and they are trying to encourage the Tera base to give it a try and there is nothing at all wrong with that.
Besides They have to listen to the Big Boss and what they say goes. I for one am happy they are at least giving people the chance to try something new and get rewarded.
I just know that I haven't bought anything new since Spring from Store, and I am a gold maker to buy stuff, they are expensive, they are not detailed, they are revamped, they are expensive, they are behind stupid RNG, they are overpriced, you might say I am one customer, but that is the point, you lose costumers and players one by one at a time.
You might love and defend the current awful store and marketing we have, but many don't like it, and those that don't like it get mad because they want new stuff but they are not really worth it.
Then find a game that has a marketplace you like? I for one love my wolves and happily paid the 60.00 to get them because 1. I love wolves 2. I will probably never be a tier 10 so getting ghost is awesome and 3. I like supporting a game that means a lot to me.
lol? I have over 30 characters, all got multiple costumes, mounts, I have been in Tera for years, supported it by playing the game and buy EMP on discounted events cause rest of the time is very expensive for me and my currency.
Supporting and bending over are two different things.

Edit: got my answer. The wolves in the bundle have speed 290, and no mp/hp restoration.
The original Wolf pack was the same price as this set is I do not see what the fricken problem is. Seriously you are making a fuss over absolutely nothing.
The original pack was not sold as individuals originally ,also they do not fly.
I have a feeling, like with the original pack they are testing to see how well they sell. Also all of the wolves are available as none flying ( one is the tier 10, one is from an old reward, and then lady is from the event of leveling to 20 on their other game)
As for testing purposes, shouldn't affordability also be taken into consideration? I'd feel much safer spending my own points knowing I can walk away with exactly what I set out to buy. I can't be the only one...
Not to mention, people feel like getting their money's worth. If one were to be able to select their own mounts, while still possibly spending the same amount as the bundle, (possibly a little more due to the nature of individual purchases), they'd more than likely be satisfied with their decision. At least they wouldn't have to worry about having enough gold to purchase one from someone else, or simply missing out on it altogether, and En Masse still makes their sales. This could very well mean the consumers would be happier, and En Masse would have more of an idea as to whether or not the mounts were a success because they actually sold them. ^_^
That must have been in XI, because XIV's most expensive mount-exclusive item (you get nothing else) is $30, and despite being single-character, it's a pillion mount; two people can ride it. It can fly. The $40 mount is one that you can only obtain by marrying someone else and it includes a ring that allows you to teleport to your spouse as long as you can access the area they're in once every 30m. It can carry two people (not just your spouse, though!) and fly.
$60 for a trio of mounts that are not account bound but can fly anywhere is questionable. You get three mounts, each presumably for $20, so why not offer each character mount for $20~$25 (matching the flying... bunnies? what are they even????). I'd pay $25/character I want the mount for and grumble a bit. As someone who wanted just the pink wolf for every character I own, buying a bunch of $60 packs is not even an option. I don't want to discuss the lootboxes; I just wanted a Plain Jane flying doggo.
Guess I'll go learn and farm Lakshimi instead; that pink doggo is free.
