Quoting myself from the first page.
There has been months and no one can bring that here in this thread.
I supose that I will have to wait some years for someone post true and truthful information.

Now, that's where I can't reconcile. Using 1:35, say 1USD ~ 100emp = 3500 gold.
So 80mil gold should only be ~ 22.8K USD.
I don't see the logic for 102B per the infographic.
Try to use this info and make the conversion
That is what is talked about and not how people trade gold in-game for EMP.
They are making a comparative as if it was real gold coins.
it was mentioned by @counterpoint once at that time, how it was calculated. can't remember which thread,
Wow, that's even more meaningless than I thought.
Meaningless as playing a video game and meaningless as posting in a forum thread of a video game.
Yeah, it's assuming each gold coin in game were equivalent to one ounce of gold in real-life, and then converting to US Dollars at current exchange rates. It has nothing at all to do with EMP, and is just a "fun statistic" (as you often have on infographics).
Stats from the infograph doesn't indicate activity either. Playtime measures the login time, not playtime. This means the people afking 24/7 count towards it, then those who afk on several accounts further inflate it. Character stats are just total created, doesn't mean they're all active and of course will include alts.

Also, nice necro
Now explain how much of the real player base steam represents.
Remember that anyone can make assumtions and without official info that can not be taken more than a personal opinion.
and what is your official info? a biased infographic that doesn't reflect anything about player activity? go on every server you can and check the lfgs. then go check highwatch. how many people are afking? almost all of them.
there is almost no actual player activity going on. its easily visible by simply going ingame and looking.
it doesnt matter how much of the player base steam represents. it's meant to show a pattern.
Then if you claim an unoficial based on asumtioms (I don't use steam to log in in the game and many friends either) is for you the truth there is no more for you in this thread as you won't ever came with something with actual facts but only numbers that you don't even know how much of the actual player base represent.
I can play the same as you and say that the only truth here is what I say, that is what most people do anyway, right? Is so dificult for you to show "real proof" showing otherwise? Of course because you don't have.
And this is for you as it seems you didnt read the first post, so I will quote myself again:
