Leveling MUCH too fast
I'm out-leveling the party/dungeons quests almost before I reach them and all I'm doing are the story quests. This means I get one shot at using IMS for the dungeon and so far, every party has skipped so much of the dungeon that there's no point in doing it with a party in the first place, since I always have to go back and solo it afterwards -- at an insane cost in terms of time and effort ... (if I didn't out-level the dungeon in the first place, I'm absolutely too high for IMS after one partial run).
It's so frustrating, I'm seriously thinking about punting the game. If I'm thinking it, I'm sure others have left over it. Chasing new people out of the game this way is NOT good for game health or longevity.
There are a couple ways to fix it, some (obviously) take more effort than others:
1. rework all dungeons and/or story quests involving dungeons so that one successful kill on the final boss ALWAYS completes the quest
2. (better) implement level-sync'ing for IMS and open all dungeons for all levels.
3. (hmm) implement cross-server LFG. Looks like IMS supports cross-server dungeon groups already, why not LFG?
3. (good luck) make the game popular enough that LFG becomes a viable tool for dungeon groups
4. (partial run solo) add a "quest run" mode where you can pickup where you left off and just do what you missed for a quest regardless of level; ie. killed final but need skipped side-boss? All you need is to solo the side boss, not the entire dungeon.
