The preceding argument is completely nonsensical, so don't bother trying to make sense of it. You'll find that there are a few regular posters on this forum who consistently make such low-quality posts.
Obviously!
TERA endgame is Dress Up Simulator 2017
You see, darling, you are not necessarily wrong about making gloves before boots(you are, however, completely wrong on the gloves>weapon>chest order). It's your reasoning that's getting this reaction. If I were to say the following:
If you plan on using etching 4 on your new VM items but not on your misery, you can go for gloves before boots to get the higher cdr and as stats from it. If you are not having survival issues, that'd be better as it'll improve your support for the party.
I guarantee you nobody would tell me I'm out of my mind or tell me they don't even know where to begin. Your reasoning of "3% dmg for the mad ES deeps" is, well, really very stupid. I'm pretty sure you know you did the gearing order wrong and are now just refusing to back down...for some reason.
I never said to get them on that order, just listed them but never said get gloves before weapon and armor chest, I even mention in this discution that I am saying gloves are better in my opinion than boots.
Is not my reasoning but the assumptions from others to think that I say to get first gloves over any other thing, if you get a list to get from the super market ie. onions, tomatoes and eggs, that doesn't mean that you have to buy them on that order.
The op already said that he had no problems on most dungeons and HM dungeons were hard to find people to run them so I only recomend to go for Ambush because will be more easy for him than even deathwrack.
I already said that I prefer gloves bonus than boots bonus over and over and over again. It's just that many users here just want to make anything an excuse to flame others.
Not an excuse. A valid reason.
Yeah, I forgot how you and your group of friends make any single thing "a valid reason" to flame others.
Glad to see how you admit it here on forums at the sight of anyone.
Saying "I gear for muh ES dps in parties" is a valid reason to be called stupid. And anyone with a bit of understand of how Tera works can see that.
So lets say you do want to gear up, to lets say Deathwrack, what order should you go in? Well, that's highly debatable as gearing a healer is more so about your own playstyle and how often you die, heal, or any other variable. If you die or find yourself tanking more stuff due to lack of ability to dodge, go for the chest first, and make sure to +15 that(yeah, this isn't exactly cheap if you have bad luck). After that, I'd personally suggest boots, as the critical resist CAN be beneficial, but if you find yourself able to survive using the chest, then go for the gloves first and foremost. People will say "Going for gloves for the 3% damage is pretty dumb", and in terms, doing it to do DPS, specifically on the boss, is indeed dumb. HOWEVER, VSHM, for example, that 3% damage can very much help out during cage mechanic of Dakuryon, as you can help kill the mobs around the arena much more effectively.
Why not just rush weapon? Well, you'll rush weapon if you find that you are able to dodge well, and adding on more defense isn't needed. However, my own opinion of gearing would be, from my own standards, Chest > Weapon > Gloves > Boots, specifically since the extra defense is VERY helpful for tanking a few hits, should you get caught and soon after getting a defense increase, you can get straight to increasing your weapon for higher heals, an extra roll, and added on attack factor for also helping out during mobs(or even certain parts of Harrowhold, such as orbs).
Any content is clearable in guile if thats what gives you interest, of course it requires knowledge and skill.
I'd recommend getting the last visionmaker set due next updates and revamps(VM9).
It all matters on what you're focusing in the game, any gear is fine as long as you know how to use it(healer only)
.
+12 Ambush set has lower ilvl than Misery. You can't even do HM dailies with it unless you boost your ilvl with other gear pieces. Maybe you can craft if for your IoD alt to be a special snowflake, but dumping Misery for it is a step backwards.
About "boosting dps" thing, you may not be familiar with DPS numbers in average party. From my experience, average PUG +12 dps player usually deal between 500k-1mil. Ppl in +15 LFGs usually deal between 1-2mil each. While priest healer deal around 10-30k DPS, less than 0,5% party DPS. Adding additional 2-3k with gloves etc. changes absolutely NOTHING.
I'm on CH tho thanks for asking.
atm i dont have guild thats why it is hard for me to find VSHM or HH..i just kept soloing farming gears on my 6 alts.
it is just my thing .. i love tera how learning path unlock dg by dg is just fun part for me so i didnt try to join any guild and seek for help yet.
also... it is kinda sad that guild that i used to be in there now i dont know anyone in there anymore.
I just wanna be ready to be good guildies that is gears ready / enough dg knowledge so I'm not gonna bother anyone much.
probably i need one soon now as end game content i cant find LFG....or any practice party to give me a chance
All suggestions is really do help me so ... maybe if i will invest on anything it might be my lancer or priest instead of two healers ( but im a healers main tho .. love healing from bottom of heart )just nowadays it is so hard to find tank so i do play lancer too.
and as you all say about gears. all suggestions are really help me decide where to farm on.
last question .
before enchanting revamp hit what should i keep most and what i should just use it for now.
Feedstocks ? golds ? semi eni ?
thank you so much
Alkahests, always recommend saving(imo), unless theres a huge spike.
dreathward is more spensive, get to +15 if you dont mind get too poor. and im saw healers in imperator this pach and they dont have any trouble do high tier conted
in healers VM weapon (at +12 ) gave 5 reolls lines ( is no like dps who need +15 full enchanted ), im saw almost healers with VM get the extra reoll to get crit line (+14), full +15 ambush/dreatward gave +6 % healing skills
if you can craft ambush weapon and get the +12 scroll for leveling event (this scroll make awakening the gear piece, so you dont need spend fedtock and alkaes to get awakening status ) maybe is a good upgrade and cheap for you since healers can be obtain +4 endurance ( besides +8 from full bonus Ambush/misery set) from full crit bond jewerye ( and each 1 endurance stats is like +520 add to defense stat)
in new system you can get upgrade old VM and mid tier with %100 rate suces, Misery +12 is mid tier +0, and ambush +15 is High tier +7 ( at +15)
semis, almost each mats for new system can be obtained from tokens, and tokens can be obtained dismanted old enchant mats, for this reason if you want craft cheap VM is more enfor get ambush( for use +12 scroll) instead dreathward ( more in healers )
Well, you say it's irrelevant/not important but you describe it as being useful/important right after it hue
What I will agree is that you may chose between the current mid tier, or an older VM+15 staff (for Priest at least), since you get the extra healing factors on the +15, and it's way cheaper to get about the same results, than the newest VM. Nothing like filling up an entire HP bar on that full BiS player on one heal right! Defense should be about as important as healing factor in my opinion, and then lastly crits. Power nothing of importance, but that's my build anyway.
For stat prioritization, you always go for:
%damagereduction > Defense/Endurance/HP > CDR > Attack Speed > Healing > Crit > MP Regen
