A lot of people been stuck with +15 untradable gear that people purchased from other players, it would be a great idea to implement this scroll into the game.
you can use the scroll on a +15 weapon/armor and get the crafting material back NOT INCLUDED the feedstock u spent or awaken enchanting(etching too).

what do u guys think of this idea? u could get your material back and craft another VM for another class.

(im not too sure if this can be applied with the new enchanting revamp coming up soon in couple month... )

At this point is too late to make changes about that, a new gear system will arrive in a few months, better wait to the new system to be implemented and hope is less than a hassle for other users.

However your idea is for people that bought another one crafted BiS, in my opinion is a no because right now the game has not much content to do and making that will make players play even less time the game for gearing their mains or alts accounts.

  • No, it would be better to get the enchanting mats and etching back than the vm mats bec their value decreases dramatically after patch

If I'm understanding your post, you're saying that people who purchased VM from others should be able to dismantle it into its crafting materials. I can't say I agree with this. I think the current trading system surrounding buying VM from other players is fine. Yeah there's basically no resale value on it whatsoever, but you're already getting a good deal in the first place since by buying it you got to skip the process of...
    1. Farming the mats
    2. Rolling the stats
    3. Masterworking it
    4. Enchanting it to +12
    5. Awakening it and enchanting it to +15
    6. Etching it

Instead you just bought it off someone who did all that already -- someone who, to top it off, is usually selling it at a loss or barely breaking even unless they had extremely good luck. If it's VM from last patch that they made when it was BiS then they are definitely selling it at a loss. The only downside buyers face is the knowledge that they won't be able to liberate the weapon and sell it once it's equipped, but if that's such a big deal to them (and for most people it isn't) they can just do steps 1 through 6 as outlined above. It'll take ages, but at least they'll be able to sell it for a fraction of its true worth next patch.

Having said all that, I'd love it if dyads stayed on gear after liberation. Dyads are such a dumb part of this game.

I am for no. Because since the implementation if awakening and +15 its been clearly communicated that each piece of +15 equip can only be liberated once.

That being said you know what you buy, and you were informed upfront.

BHS actually stated a response to this and it was a big no. The reason is similar to what everyone said here.

BHS wanted the +15 to be something that a player would achieve after spending a lot of resources, whether it's time, money, or in-game goods. If such system was implemented, sure, it's great for players who do not possess much resources. However, this heavily impacts the economy within the game. Having Awakening enchantment is a good way to make these "recyclable" resources as "perishable" instead because they are one time use per awakening and awakened enchantment process. Same thing applies to etchings: if they can be recycled, the currently dead etching market would be completely meaningless unless you did not possess one at all before. Because they also have such a potential impact on the economy, such system would actually cause more harm than good.

    thats understandable
