SLAUGTHER VS DREAD SETS

So im on the fence about this. Atm i own a +12 slaugther weapon/belt/gloves AND Dreadnaught armor/boots.

Realizing that getting my SF gear is going to take much longer than i anticipated.

Should i just complete my slaughter set instead or keep the set as is and continue to save up for SF. Friend told me that SF doesn't actually become better than slaughter until +15.

Also, if whats the most viable mix of armors with Slaughter/SF? For example SF- Weapon, gloves. slaugther - armor, boots, belt. If that makes any sense. Someone told me to get a mix of sets as a DPS to get better damage stats

Get full Slaughter, its pointless and expensive to get SF if you'e not gonna Awaken it.

just get full set of slaugther if you are a casual player , +15 is a pain
  • okay thanks

Gear progression in this game is way to fast to put so much effort in to one set. Just go slaughter less painful than awakening.

If you intend on going SF, I suggest making sure you're able to acquire up to 2 million gold worth of feed stock+ mwa, or more, in a short time just to go from 12 to 15. Otherwise, stick with Slaughter or save up the gold and buy a weapon already +15 and etched for ~300-500k.

By the next big patch 6 months from now give or take SF set will be obsolete.

If you go to battlegrounds i highly suggest NOT using slaughter since the armor/boots/gloves have zero pvp stats unlike dreadnaught or starfall because you will just be point fodder and deserve to get kicked. I dismantled my ninja's dread pieces for feedstock to enchant slaughter but after realizing my mistake i got and enchanted new DN pieces just for BG.

And regarding your last question: On ninja I use 2 SF (weapon/glove) and 3 slaughter (armor/belt/boots) for pve. 3 SF (weapon/glove/belt) and 2 DN (armor/boots) for pvp. I'm too lazy to grind for full SF set sooo .. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Slaughter and Dreadnaught chest/gloves/boots have near-equal defence in PVP. Slaughter has a higher base defence whereas Dreadnaught makes up for that with the additional PVP lines. However if you have Slaughter rolled for PVE and Dreadnaught rolled for PVP then yes, Dreadnaught is better in PVP. I only tested Dread and Slaughter armor though, I believe Slaughter weapon is probably better in PVP but I don't have the gear to be able to test this.

If you don't planning +15 SF yet still want a bit more damage
    slaughter weapon/armor/boot
    SF belt/glove
    mainly for glove 3% damage
Weapon is the only thing worth for +15 as PVE DPS
