The final week of Argon Assault heats up!

Tomorrow morning's invasion events mark the beginning of the final week of the Argon Assault! With that, some changes have been made:
  • Highwatch zone has been removed from the event. Apparently, Meldita and Shandra Manaya kept getting too confused once there and became just a frustration for both the Argons and the players!
  • 15 minutes prior to the invasion, a server wide announcement will take place. There will be three waves of invaders: Capsules, Mobs, and some bosses in the first wave, more mobs in second wave (10 minutes after the first wave), and the remainder of the bosses in the third wave (20 minutes after the first wave)
  • There may be smaller invasions of 3 bosses and a wave of mobs in zones that will be called out immediately as they invade. These MAY appear in zones OTHER than those listed (this will all be called out in the server announcement). These smaller invasions WILL NOT replace the 2 scheduled ones, merely add a few more.
  • Look for an announcement about a possible large scale assault on the final day of the event (Tuesday, September 5). Intel informs me it will probably occur along with the evening invasion and there may be some death.

    Tbh seems like it's going to be a mess, especially because most players dont come to the forums to check news, resulting in a mass of confused people on global but we'll see how it goes
    Also really feels like just farming mobs solo is the easiest way to get boxes :( I like the fun we all have in the raids..

    The servers can barely handle the 2 wave system, I doubt it will cope with more mobs/bosses. Is there a fix for this yet? Standing around not being able to move, isn't my idea of a fun event.

    If you guys don't fix the lag, please just cancel the event. Making it more elaborate is just a waste of time when lag makes it impossible to complete. As it is, this event is not fun.

    Okay, seriously, something broke between the previous two weeks and the current week of 8/28, because we've had two stable weeks of the Argon event without the servers lagging this hard.

    I don't care for the event, and I don't care for the "final large scale assault", and it's fine that other people do. However, I'm sure all of us think it's backwards to cook your servers past well done when the entire game becomes unplayable.

    What I do care about is our 20-man HH raid insta-dying to a Vergos slide show.

    Tuesday is September 5th I believe, or did u mean Wednesday, September 6th?
