    When Enmasse gains the power to fix problems on the internet wherever they occur, sure.

    Till then you're at the mercy of the various CDNs and backbone providers.

    I can at least confirm some hellishly slow and laggy responses to other websites at about the time this started to be a problem for everyone in Tera, so it's not just the game affected.

    There is some massive network problem going on with TERA's backbone provider right now.

    I normally get 40-50 ping but it goes from 300-1500 ping nonstop since about 45 mins ago.

    we'll times were good and lag free and now the spikes are back. basically everyone in the guild is affect so that covers every corner of the planet.

    This issue is still going on now, unfortunately. You should be able to see in your traceroute where it spikes up like crazy.

    no amount of traceroutes are going to pin point and internal network issue when the source / destination are not the same as the external interface they have us do the traceroute to .. but thanks for coming out.

    We have looked into this issue and confirmed it is an external issue. We are working with the ISPs to resolve these and hope performance will improve soon.

    There are definitely other cases where you would not see it in a traceroute, but this time it's extremely obvious to look at it. Whatever other issues there may still be won't really matter as long as there's that much lag and packet loss on the path.

    How do you pay for elite and cash shop items?
    Are they donations for the "great" service?

    Many don't pay for either. They do without.

    But Margarethe pays for it...um....

    You know what I mean! They feel they are not receiving the game they pay for.

    For me it's been bad lag for the last few days or so. I'unno anymore. My other services have all worked fine this entire time, so I'm skeptical when I hear that it's my ISP.

    People saying they're frustrated that they pay for a service they aren't getting should just ... stop paying for it if it doesn't meet their standards. You won't be barred from logging in because of it and it's not like content's worth doing more than once a day anyway, now that feed/alk/treasure chest prices are in the gutter. I'm assuming of course that these people are referring to the monthly subscription and not something else like lootboxes (don't buy these; if you buy 100 of these and get nothing, then your consumer rage is totally justified but you still should just not [filtered] buy them in the first place) or a costume for a character you can barely play thanks to lag, etc.
