like we got not enough RNG in the game....
This right here can go a long way, Treeshark, you might want to consider the idea of introducing either an old box for a new purpose or make a new one for the same reason (or, you know, modifying one of the already useless but existing ones...), you could add Titan embers and feedstock to it for now and even some other useful stuff like spellbind (tiered of course). While I do see the reason to think very carefully about the price of it in stores I'm sure it would be possible to figure out the right number of materials provided by the box and the cost of it very much like it was done with the MWA box.
Nowadays for me, i do vanguards and then i rarely do anything the rest of the day. Why? Because running dungeons isn't very rewarding if at the end there's no vanguard reward. The drops are lame, every gear dropped i don't need it, i make ilke what, 10-20 feedstock per run w/o vanguards? And i need 48 for only 1 try that will probably fail since the rate of succces of t9 is ridiculously low (my weapon took 2.2k t9 fs to make it +12, and it's a damn slaughter weapon, not even SF) and making stafall is something out of the table due to how expensive stuff is (in MT MWA is at 50g each now, and t9 fs at 35g each)
If there's something to fix, is content to do throughout the day. I run out of vanguards, i run out of things to do. All i can do is jump into my [filtered] alt and do the same [filtered] i did on my main, but slower. Yeah i run dungeons anyways, but it's not rewarding at all. At least make it so after doing a dungeon i go out with at least 48 feedstock to try 1 more time to enchant my damn equipment.
Also, on another note. Update buddyup rewards, recieving a +12 scroll at 65 that only works with tier 1-7 items, and the first thing you recieve after reaching 65 is an idoneal set which u can't enchant, and then a tier 8 set (DN) is just a BIG FAT NONFUNNY JOKE. I got a friend to play, when he reached 65 he was very disappointed he couldn't make his weapon +12 right away, and he hasn't played in over a day now
And make IoD have T9 Spellbind in tokens. T8 Spellbind force us to buy Non-Tier Spellbind.
I have requested before that Tier 8 and Tier 9 be dropped. Just as we do for the low levels 1-anynumber. Including Alkyhest. I do IoD on a daily basis since it has come out. I don't care to run dungeons with parties of people with a chance to get what I need to advance. With my experience of IoD. I have been able to get the new accessories at a decent pace, as well as glyphs (still working on those), and will soon have the fod material needed for the new accessories you can make from the bg store. For me this has been more convenient than grinding dungeons all day. IoD takes about an hour or so out of my day depending on if I buff or not. I'm gratefull for semi-enigmatics to drop, this is very helpful to roll the jewelry or low level gear should I chose. I am also grateful for the complete crystal binds that drop as I am still working towards my dyads. I'm grateful for the tier 9 that is awarded in the VG.
I do wish the VG for Tier 9 feedstock was a bit more. If Tier 9 feedstock was removed from VG reward I agree that if it was a dropped item that IoD would be packed "Maybe" People complain about how long it takes to do as it is. They want this easy.
My Answer:
It would be an easy fix to not only increase your feedstock supply in dungeons, making Feedstock increased in rewards, but also to make the enchanting feedstock box an new thing for Vanguard stores and BG stores. Also adding this particular feedstock to the sea chest.
I do not recommend a Strong box even as not everyone is going to buy keys to open them regularly unless the have expendable cash to use.
1. increase feedstock reward in VG.
2. Increase amount of feedstock stacks in Dungeons
3. Add Enchanting Feedstock Box to BG stores.
4. (Optional and preferred personally.) Feedstock drops from IoD bams in stacks of 5-30 each.
5. Drop Tier 10 feedstock from Hydraths.
Even with current average success rate, it takes me personally far less than 1440 feedstock to go from +9 to +12. Sure, you fail a few times, but it's usually never more than 500 feedstock altogether. Your proposed system would put us way in the red. We'd have less feedstock to acquire, and we'd need (possibly) more than double the amount to enchant our gear.
Also, I know everyone's attention is on feedstock, but lets not forget about Titan's Ember, they aren't coming from VGs anymore and the only source is FWC boxes/Ghillieglade (no one does it since it is just time wasting), prices are already rising on TR.
