I get a message that due to insufficient memory,my textures are lowered (not the exact message but close) is it referring to video memory? or cpu memory? for the record I have gtx1060 with 6 gig and 16 gig computer memory and use a ssd for my main drive. and using win 7 64 bit, is there a fix? should I just ignore, what is it talking about?

    Is your gamepad plugged in by chance? It can cause memory leak.

    It refers to video memory. BHS limited the max video memory usage around 1-1.5 GB. In fact it crashes if it reaches 1.5 GB, although this only happens in Velika or Highwatch if many people around. You can just ignore it nothing that you can do about it. I guess the reason behind this that back then when the game released there was probably not video card that had more than 2 GB RAM and BHS doesn't changed that limit since, either this or it's a limitation in the UE3 engine itself.

    ok ty i bet it was because of MB with built in video, surprised they have not upgraded to the UE4 engine, I would like them to come up with a Linux version of this game. and UE4 does run under Linux
