If people started to blame you, just remind them of me and they will forget all about you, seriously :3

    Thisssssss

NO what they need is meter in game so that players can see how poorly they are doing compared to the norm. There is a reason why only 7 or 8 guilds are clearing HH in NA, most of which are guilds made up of each others members too ..

Meters don't fix stupidity ya know, not even do they show it necessarily. And even if they do show the stupidity, back to 1st point.

they don't fix stupidity but they bring them face to face with their stupidity. they can't hide behind their fingers any more if everyone knows how trap they are.

The thing is, imagine a brawler tanking a boss with the boss back glued to the wall, and no one of your party has front crit crystals, then the brawler brags about his dps and start to be a [filtered] because others dps.

Yeah, right, so much to learn from a dps meter when most people don't even understand why those numbers are that high or that low for others.

I think someone wall tanking is going to be fairly obvious - and if they start mocking others after the fact, they'll likely be forcibly removed. Let's not dismiss an argument by assuming that everyone's stupid.

A meter's results can be broken down and shared with others for critique, if the player doesn't understand the results. They don't need to know exactly why they're doing badly - others with skill and knowledge can point them to the right direction as for what to do differently and so on. If your hits-per-minute on a crucial skill is well below the average threshold for that class, then you'll know you aren't using your skills anywhere close to how you would want to.

@ OP: if you get kicked from a party like that, consider it a blessing. I once spent an unreasonably long period of time trying to guide a party of trashcans through SS, only to be kicked at the end for "not healing enough". Turns out I just heal carried too hard earlier in the run (during Dakuryon pizza, they stood in the middle and continued to DPS... from the sides) so the trashcans didn't notice how much they sucked until Imperator started throwing them to the sides of the room.

If people are too dumb to realise what's dragging them down, then let them wallow in the mud where they belong, and remember them for the future. Inform your guild, too, if you have one - you're in the struggle together. The more known trashcans, the fewer trap runs.
  • And this is why the IoD dailies are so much better for me. Tera doesn't encourage grouping and such.

Don't need to imagine it, I've seen tanks misplace a boss. It's quite obvious and at least 1 person will point it out. If nobody does or they go into front crit, Arun himself cannot help that party.

I can seriously imagine this case, with the oh so great guildies DPSing front, WITHOUT crystals, and booting the healer afterwards for low DPS.
    Don't underestimate stupidity. It's amazing.

If the brawler brags about his dps in such a situation, I would try explaining what he did wrong, but if he doesn't listen, I would just ignore whatever he says. No point arguing when he doesn't even understand his mistake.

What I do hate though, is when a tank positions the boss's back to a wall or poison puddle and after someone calls him out, he goes all defensive and starts saying things like "If you can tank better, why don't you do it?"
This is clearly an attitude problem since the tank knows he made a mistake, but just can't let go of his ego, which is much worse to deal with than some ignorant bragger.
