Please, peoples, if you never played a game before, what make you think you have the right to speak about it ?
Only need to pay once in Black Desert ??!
After quitting that RNG, Endless grind, no content, greedy, honorless, shameless, .. game, the quote above, triggered me so hard .. allow me to list some of the most essential items you'll be buying if you have any future plans to play black desert.
- Pets x4 : This is a MUST for leveling, and making silver, it's simply impossible to have any kind of joy by playing with no pets, the looting animation is very slow, and you can only loot 1 item at a time (same for pets, which is why you need to have 4), mobs drop so much loots, and as the game make you stronger very fast, you'll be one shotting packs of mobs that drop 15+ items, if not looted fast enough, they 'll disappear --- Pets have tiers, and Tier 1 are the slowest, so at higher levels, it's better to invest getting Tiers 4, which is RNG.
Basic Price for 4 Tier 1 Pets = 40 $, minimum price for tier 4 assuming you'll get OMG luck, and always rank up a tier (impossible) is a 180$.
- Weights : The drops you'll be looting have weights, as you kill faster & loot faster, you'll end up over weighted pretty fast, which cause to move slower than a snail on top of a turtle .. moving backward, the game mechanics will force you to upgrades your weight limits with "Deliver 1000 of X item to exchange for 1 Mil Silver", or you can sell 999 of X item to an NPC at a loss, you'll also need weights to remain in the grinding area longer, or end up moving to town every 10 min (not exaggeration ... Sausan example).
Some Classes require Weights upgrade more than others, and it's a much have for this classes : Ranger (MP Potions).
Basic cost of Weights : 20$ + 15 $ + 10 $ = 45+$.
- Life Skills : The game require heavy investment in it nodes system, and generally it life skills to generate passive silvers (which is higher than actively grinding for silver .. go figure who made this dumb system), to be efficient on this aspect, several elements are required based on what ever activity you choosed :
- Fishing ? Inventory Slots are a Must!
- Cooking ? Costume and Possibly Maids.
- Gathering ? a Hedgehog Pet is required, and can boost the items gathered with a bonus of 30/40%, and it behind a paywall of 45 $, as it cannot be purchased individually.
- Processing ? Costumes is a Must + Weights.
- Trading ? it goes with processing, and heavily rely on Contribution points, and Worker management, more workers = more income, and you can buy up to 3 Workers lodging from the cash shop and use them on each major city/town. Storage slots are also available, but can be played around and not a much have items to buy.
- Horse Training ? Breeding Reset, Skill Reset, and Branding are almost essential, unless you wana spend x2 the times leveling your horses from 1 to 30, which take up to 90 Hour total for high tier horses (Tier 8), the joke is : those are items you'll have to buy every single time you are breeding your horses.
I can list quite many things that are a MUST, but if i count only pets & weights, you are looking at 80/225 $ MINIMUM, on top of the game price.
A level 35 .. that's the best defense for your statement : "in black desert you only need to pay once" ??
It take 2 Hours, maybe less to reach that point, in fact the game doesn't even start till level 56+, and i don't see any counter argument to the wall above : Pets, Weights, Inventory Slots, and Life skills investment.
Claiming you understand BDO with a screen shot of a level 35, is similar to someone claiming he understand Tera with a level 20 ..

Fell free to pretend what ever you want to be, so far you provided 2 screen shot proving :
- Ridiculous low level : 35/36, take less than 2 hours to reach (as a vet player, i can reach it within ~1 Hour )
- in Olvia Channel : New Players exclusive channel with a permanent 200% XP (on top of you book of Combat +50% XP)
- Low level Maps : Serendia & Calpheon.
- Ridiculous low Energy : Shared between all character and an undeniable evidence of your beginner status.
- Ridiculous low Contribution Points : Another undeniable prove of the beginner status & a Sign of very small progress
- Black Spirit Quest "Soif de Puisance" = a tutorial into enhancing weapons using Black stones, still undone .. even the tutorial quests are not finished.
I don't even know why your denying the beginner status, it's a lost cause, there is nothing wrong with being a beginner, just stop pretending .. instead of showing everyone more screen shots that will probably work against you, why not argue my original points of the extra purchases that any future Bdo player will be forced to do ?
- Pets are a MUST!
- Weights are a MUST!
- What ever Life skill a player is going to choose, there are several MUST have items required.
The game doesn't even offer visual progression in terms of gears : in Tera each few levels consist of many beautifully designed gears that are unique, in Bdo you can be level 61+ and still look very similar to what ever junk looking gears you had at level 1, and unless you buy Outfits off the cash shop, or spend days in front of the RNG Market in hopes of winning a bid for a Costume, there is barely any visual progression.
That trash game has so many Cons to talk about Design wise, and mainly CASH SHOP wise, that i could write books on how terrible they are.

i know in black desert they suck with armor design, but at level 50 the armor design is better than the paesant armor you got at level 1
I don't think you just started, i am convinced that you either just started, or didn't invest much time in it, there is no need to stress yourself over me with levels, those are irrelevant especially in the light of the previous changes :
- Moving Soft Cap to 55.
- Another Soft cap move to 60.
- The most recent XP requirement reduction for level 56+ up to 61.
On top of all the XP buffs that can be used : the daily 1 Hour 200% XP buff + Weekends 100% buffs + 7 days 50% from Book of Combat + 20% From the Beers + 8% Milk + 15% Elixirs + 10% Villa Buffs + 20% Helmet Gems + 10% Outfits and of course the new player exclusive channel : Olvia.
Levels are meaningless, your Contribution points & Energy will always reveal your status. (+ Gears ofc)

It's completely false, and shows a lack of understanding to the game basics mechanics, which you proved right with the previous screen shots.
Also, the armor variety in black desert are almost all identical to the basic gears of level 1, the only exception are boss armors, which might sound exciting but in reality they are terribly ugly ... this is the bis Chest in game : Dim Tree armor.

i dont remember my valkyrie wear the armor i show in my screenshot when she was at level 1
i dont remember at level 1 you can made the black spirit quest to get the level 50 armor you get when you beat the catfish boss
- I don't care when the screen shot was taken, you were asked to prove your knowledge about Bdo, and the best thing you brought to the table was a screen shot of a very low level character, showing an account with really low energy and CP.
- Bdo monetization is NOTHING like Tera, several items in the cash shop cannot be obtained or sold through the market, there is no Player trading system, and the Marketplace it self is RNG = even if you have the silver to buy something, you cannot buy it, and can only bid on it with 15k+ of other players and hope you'll win the chance to pay for it ...
- Because you didn't have that armor ? + the Valk in the picture is wearing an outfit : Karlstein.
- Your talking about the Dim Magical Armor, the quest require a level 50+ and other quests in chain to be done, but the armor itself, just like every single piece of gears in Bdo, have no level requirement and can equipped at level 1 : Click me

well on their forum it seem they say something else than what you buy in their store you can sell in the market and obviously it upset them
anyway from what i see you just need to log after the maintenance or server crash or a time when no too much people play the game to buy in the market

- Maybe it's just a difference of conception, but in my world, someone who claim he "played the game" & proceed to educate peoples about it with his opinions, just like you did when you said "in black desert you only need to pay once" = Require to have spent enough time in the game to understand it monetization and basic mechanics, i don't expect a low level with a single number of hours invested.
- How's loging after maint or crash will help buying items from the MP ? they don't spawn in there do they ? someone has to list them, which changes nothing in the situation. Also, The weekly cash shop reset hit on Sunday, and the maint is on Wednesday = no effect what so ever.
- You claimed there is a level 50 armor, i linked a direct picture of the armor your talking about, and it has NO level requirement, yet your still here arguing ?? yeah, it's the trolling phase, how about you prove your point with any link showing ANY gears that has level requirements ? ANY - I can strip down my main character gears, put it on storage, jump on a level 1 character, and equip every single piece.
