Agree with you that this is op, but thats if the point why just dont keep the [filtered] like it is (convertion amount), wouldnt be way better if they just change the price of vm9 mats on the token shop? (making it equivalent/fair) and at same time doing this they wont ruin with enchant of the other gears and such.

This is the better way to deal with the issue.

Not chaging the token conversion values but the token shop costs.

    on everyone? or on ''everyone''?

This must be common knownledge by now.

    Only on "everyone".
  • The problem is that SES in the original KTERA conversion rate has probably the most absurdly inflated value if the system is copied directly without modifications, because in NA we can farm them from IoD. Most players in KTERA just have to live with not rerolling their jewelery until they get another drop from a dungeon or other source, because SES are hard to acquire and therefore expensive. On our side, SES are relatively common in NA, and are undervalued in their gold value when compared to their token conversion rate.

Adjusting token shop costs would require adjusting all the items whose conversion rates which are in line with each other, having accounted for the balance of item rarity and value. If 90% of items are equal in token-conversion-adjusted value, why change them instead of the remaining 10% which have region-specific value differences?

Taking SES conversion rate as the base value against which all other items must be adjusted means heavily devaluing almost everything else -- many items four-fold or so.
  • But we will still need semis even after the patch...

I don't think there will be a difference.

Based on history, the deprecated items (campfires and the likes) are sold back for the exact value KR has provided.

And also like what people have said, some mats are unobtainable via remnants.

Gameforge has stated that they plan on changing the token conversion prices based on their regional economy.

Failforge isn't a good example to follow

My real concern about this all is, people that was been playing/farming the game since long time going to, from a night to day lost all their mats because a bad choose. Pretty sure people was been saying that they should reset economy and [filtered] is these ones have nothing to lose, thats annoying af.

Guess that, lots of people going to just leave the game if they dont really do a good choose. Im one of these i dont want to see my work going to waste because bad decisions taken from the staff lol.

But well, for now all we can do is wait and see what they going to do.

Because EME is such a great example?

Gameforge has been providing accurate information for a while. NA and EU also get very similar patches.
