[PvP Tournament] Tempest Throwdown
We will be hosting a PvP tournament in Tempest Reach on October 7th, 2017.

A couple people are planning to server transfer, then go back once the event has concluded.
I'd only recommend this if you're confident you can win 1st or 2nd prize though since you'd lose more than gain if you don't place.
Again, unless we get some helping hands for this event, the only worth it prize is 1st or 2nd place for those planning on transferring.
Q: Will this event be livestreamed or put on Youtube?
A: We will have shoutcasters providing commentary on TwitchTV and have referees recording the matches for internal use and to upload onto Youtube for those who miss the event.
Also:
"Additionally, you may agree to have your voices recorded if you would like to be in our montage videos of the tournament once the event has concluded. We’d love to capture moments of perfect team play and communication to highlight in future videos."
We will have about three people recording each match. One referee from Team A's perspective, one referee from Team B's perspective, and one from the casters.

Due to low participation levels, there were discussions of whether we should cancel or move the tournament to another date. In the end, it was decided that we'd like to carry out the tournament with adjusted prizes.
The reasoning behind this is because the initial prize was to incentivize players from other servers into participating by covering transfer cost and still leaving with a gain as opposed to a loss.
However, all teams that have signed up thus far are from TR origin, therefore there will be a change in the prizes. Believe me when I say that if I had the money, I'd keep it the same and believe me when I say I tried very hard to contact En Masse for help. All attempts at Emails, PMs, DMs, Forums, Discord, Player Council, all failed and En Masse may either be too busy or has yet to see it.
Please see the sheet today or below for the adjusted prize pool and I'm hoping that En Masse does see this event as it runs this Saturday. If I do see a sudden interest from those in other servers or participation spike, I will raise the prize pool back to what it was originally.
