  • there are so many games out there that has some elements to them that are better or worse than tera. you are allowed to play different games and you are allowed to enjoy them. you wont be cheating on tera if you play and like another game. tera wont break up with you.
I don't understand why people have to hate on others because they like a different game , maybe even more than they like tera. there is no reason to insult someone over their likes and dislikes. my dad bought me gw2 this past Monday when he went to walmart. we didn't know that you need a program to play with a game controller. I created a couple of characters just to see. I didn't leave the starting area, but it looks like It will be a decent game. its the thought that counts when someone gives you a gift. I do like how they have the ranger class to where you can tame the animals. I cant wait to try it.
I still enjoy tera to a degree. to me tera isn't as good as it was when I first started playing, due to them removing content. if they wouldn't have stopped or nerfed the drops from mobs and bams, if they would have kept alliance and the original island of dawn, let low levels keep playing corsairs stronghold, and still have the dragon mounts where you could fly in those areas ( except for cs ) then tera would be great still.
I have to wonder sometimes if the reason they removed these things is due to laziness on their part.
so yeah, so far as I can see, I like both games. when bdo comes out for consoles, I know I will like that one as well from what ive seen. so yeah, you are allowed to like and play more than one game.

Because GW2's team actually cares about the immersion and isn't going to put gawd awful anime bunnies and flying llamas and totally out of place cars in the game. There are very few things that are immersion breaking, unlike Tera where just about everything nowadays makes no sense.

And guess what? You can dye your mounts. Want a special recolor of a Tera Mount? Buy a million rigged loot boxes for a chance at one. Hoorayyyyyyyy.

Fly on top of a building? Right, unless you hit the super restrictive flight ceilings that are all over Tera. ^-^ GW2 often comes with plenty of ways to climb buildings like jumping puzzles and elevators and the like. Movement in that game is vastly superior overall. Vanguard quests are a good loophole I suppose... if you want to go to where the teleport is taking you. Otherwise you're kind of out of luck.

i already said it depend of taste of player and what he want

i prefer to fly with my flying bacon with my cute elin bacon over mountain, hill, trees and buildings than glide on your ugly mount in guild war 2

then why are excessively in this thread? You like the things tera does and has this good. Some people like what Anet does with their Guild wars 2 game and that is good also. Stopo insulting people because of this. I happen to like both games and play both equally. The best part of GW 2 is their skill bar streamlined and you can change your utility skills on the fly according to situation. no clutter.

so if i understand you is fine to insult people who love tera ? because i didnt see you when people started to insult tera or tera players

nope you misunderstood. actually the thread got off-course with insults about bdo (whatever that is) I was trying to bring it back to intent; after reading your interaction with that other player GW2 is lore-heavy with a lot of content; whereas Tera is action-combat heavy or it was when first out two different games speaks to two different playstyles; no need for insults about anything. and personally the only time I like bacon is when I am eating it.

At least it knows when to listen to its players. I left a while back after Valk release. They weren't listening to the actual problems with the game and what players wanted, so I figured it was time I put all my mmo hours into GW2, the superior game.

After playing it all this weekend I have to say POF is a fantastic expansion, the storyline was great, and I definitely recommend it to anyone that's still on the fence about such an investment.

Yeah... about the whole "flying mount" thing...

Arenanet snuck in a secret fifth mount for us. It's hidden behind a bunch of achievements, but it's account-wide and can be upgraded just like the others. Needless to say... it's a whole lot more fun than Tera's flying mounts :3

in tera you only need to done the quest in val oryn ot get the flying mount so it is easier to get our flying mount

and anyway my flying bacon doesnt need to go to the top of mountain to fly, she can fly from the ground as a helicopter, your flying mount need to go to the top of mountain to do that

and in tera we are not stuck with a ugly griffon, we can chose our favorite flying mount ;)
