Really weird xp rate

So i was leveling with my friend who is tier 0 tera emporium, she has 100% xp from 7 day scroll + buddy up xp boost 100% (200% xp boost) , and i only had tier 7 tera emporium(40% xp boost) with elite (100% xp boost), how come i still level quicker than my friend with just 140% compare to her 200%?? is theres something wrong with calculation here?

    I believe it's the way emporium exp is calcuated
    If you look at the experience number gain, there is 3 sets of number
    The Base EXP, the boost then Emporium.
    Im not 100% sure but i believe the Emporium bonus is calcuated from the total of Base + Bonus exp which could lead to a higher number
    I think...correct me if im wrong...Im bad at maths...I this is what i believe and recall from ancient memory
    Edit: If this is wrong, then it might be doing with the Elite exp boost increasing the EXP you're earning from quests while regular only works via Monsters...Ask your friend if they see a 2x symbol on the EXP during quest

    The tier 7 40% XP boost is godly because its after all XP boosts. So she has x3 XP (300% total), you have x2 + x0.4 (280% XP total) Not sure how youre lvling faster? o3o

    Only other factor I could think of is rested exp, but that wears off fairly quickly.

    I'd compare your exp logs and look thaat way

    you get double XP from quests too because of Elite I think, that might be the reason.

    you get double XP from quests too because of Elite I think, that might be the reason.

    xp from quests is a joke compared to hunting xp, so even doubled shouldn't make a difference.

    But is really weird, I made a new account and a new toon to do this and used a buddy up exp boost scroll, I almost leveled at the same pace of my main account with elite and with tier rewards 8.

    So I think the buddy up xp boost works like the emporium xp boost or even better.
