  • why spend gold on that when you get token from dungeons and also you need gold to enchant
    go ahead waste your gold.

from what I see here at least, now the game won't get bored after 1 month into patch cause now we have more work to do to get gear maxed out. you all want things too easy day one.

its basically a hard reset on na economy. getting rid of all past events rewards (aka mongos)
  • and who knows the cost for the new enchantment materials may not be high like ktera's let wait and see.

This is the exact reason you cant have a game that is run by people who know nothing about it, they officially screwed everyone who prepared for the patch because they don't want to actually put in enough effort to use math and figure out a conversion rate that would be similar to the costs in their current economy. Unless they drastically change the cost of the store and possibly balance out the conversion rates to a similar level from ktera by cost, they probably just cost themselves a massive amount of players. So lets see if they fix it or kill the game.

Also wtf are they gonna do about the people who already had the info and started dumping early, good job EME you really did great this time.
  • this rate is just wtf.....did EME do math before posting the rate? did u even check the prices on broker / npcs? ppl spent tons of gold in stocking the mats, or grinded for it. and in the end all that effort just = bs? ppl that did nothing and got nothing stocked has more advantages than ppl that stocked items for months... gg EME. this is how u lose ur player base with kind of things like this.
  • They just assumed everybody has a lot of everything so rates would fix the economy, but hey, if you didnt come back for the events that gave insane amounts of the items, or if you started not long ago you are screwed. Either be already +15 full dw or oblit or you are literally left far behind on months of grind.
  • Lets be honest here, NA's conversion rate is absolute garbage. Over half the items on that list trade for 1 token making it so that all of them are worth 5g at the current market rate even though some are clearly rarer than others. I'd have rather had them raise the price to buy items with the tokens and make the rates between each individual items unique based on their market value then what they currently did of just setting half the items to now be the same value.

    easier version for comparison, FYI.

Wow..KTERA had more keybadges than NA..KTERA pvp was not dead even without jackpot.
  • Lots of people are complaining about these rates screwing them over, but what you guys actually mean is that you aren't getting all the new materials for free like you thought you would.. frankly, with the new patch it's going to be easier rather than harder for the average player to gear up relative to how it is now, and the people who hoarded ridiculous amounts of stuff are still going to instantly have whatever we want from the token shop. This patch benefits everyone, but you want to complain because you aren't getting way more than your fair share handed to you on a platter. get over it.

Idk what the heck you're smoking, but putting common enigmatic scrolls on the same level as a premium alkahest isnt logical.

1 Common enigmatic scroll (5G On merchant) = 1 Premium Alkhest

No they're complaining because the rates make it so that a common enigmatic scroll is of the same value as things like a premium alk. Thus majorly devaluing a ton of items and ruining the current market.

You do realize token shop doesn't give everything you need for enchantment, don't you? You still need gems and gear exp.
And how is everyone so sure, that KTERA doesn't have hoarders as well?

You're correct, EME made it so that people who were hoarding anything worth more than a common enigmatic scroll in hopes of getting huge amounts of tokens would have been better off selling it for a fair price months ago and buying common scrolls today. However, you're assuming people flooding the market instead of hoarding mats would not have made them cheaper than CES are. Look at spellbind for instance, after that last event it was selling for 4 gold (on MT at least) because people flooded the market. Likewise, if people had sold all their mwa/prem/ext and other one token things, the price would be MUCH lower than it has been during the patch. These token conversions reflect how much of each material people actually have rather than what their value on broker was at an arbitrary time.

Ppl would be better not spending cash on keys during jackpot events, not participating in argon/mongo/cancer attack events for the useless crap rewards. Those token conversion rates reflect how little the game publisher knows about the game. The reason spellbinds were selling for 4 g wasn't the market flooding, but the lack of players to use them.
