Just take the loss and invest* smarter next time.

*yes, that includes time, as in, invest your time in another game.
  • These rates are absolutely terrible... I refuse to play a game where my items are made completely worthless over and over and over. I saved up mats for months expecting the same ktera copy paste, and the one time the don't do it is the worst possible time for it... I just don't understand the complete ignorance they have toward the community.
  • So now players get punished for preparing for patch? Nice. How hard is to give this info, idk, a month before patch, when ppl were starting to prepare? This is the first time we get this kind of "adjustments", we could have known with more time, some ppl spent most of their money on SES bc it was "the smart thing to do". Luckily this doesnt affect me that much, but ik some ppl literally spent 90% of their money preparing for the patch.
  • Little disappointing to see how anyone storing a modest amount of materials (notably, me myself and I) and a few rarer types in hopes they had some token value, gets shafted by these uneven exchange rates.

On top of that, it's quite irritating how some select people got the info earlier and crashed the market before other players could even know about it.
  • did they even check broker? what are those rates?? goddess tear of 400g = 120 tokens. lakan scale of 800g =240 tokens. and then mes of 20g+ = 2 token. ses of 300g = 28 token? bes of 140g+ = 12 token? iis of 50g =1 token? resizers of 30k+ = 160 tokens?. so if we link the rates. 1 lakan scale = 8.5 ses/120mes/20bes/240 iis? and 1 talisman = 14 ses/200mes/400iis??? why the heck are u doing this?? instead of removing the rally reward where ppl just have to do a 5min per day mob and get boxes worth of 1 million+ gold where nobody dies cuz the boss is easy af. u remove the effort that ppl were been doing for months like grinding events /stocking mats / investing gold and probably not even reaching the 1 million. logic? 5min mob gives more and easier gold than months of stocking / grinding. what a good game. that's why there is full of ppl in rally and empty lfgs after it. ppl only do rally for easy gold and nobody wants to play the game. ppl with 0 gameplay gets full dw just botting the rally and ppl who grinded for weeks and months for the event just get nothing cuz they didnt sell the stuffs and saved it for the hope in the new gearing patch. and rally 5min-ppl get full dw +15 with no effort when grinding ppl have no gear cuz all their money are on the stocked stuffs. what a good game. gg wp

Lots of people are complaining about these rates screwing them over, but what you guys actually mean is that you aren't getting all the new materials for free like you thought you would.. frankly, with the new patch it's going to be easier rather than harder for the average player to gear up relative to how it is now, and the people who hoarded ridiculous amounts of stuff are still going to instantly have whatever we want from the token shop. This patch benefits everyone, but you want to complain because you aren't getting way more than your fair share handed to you on a platter. get over it.

Idk what the heck you're smoking, but putting common enigmatic scrolls on the same level as a premium alkahest isnt logical.

1 Common enigmatic scroll (5G On merchant) = 1 Premium Alkhest
    lmaowut

This is the concept that no one seems to be understanding. People are mad about semis being nerfed from 800 -> 28, yes, but people are mostly mad about how the release of this information has fixed market prices.

The players that had the information first were able to sell all of their materials for the old market prices (ex: semis for 200g) and now that we know 1 token = 5 gold (CES price) we know that semis are only worth 150g. Every price has become fixed based on the CES rate, so any item worth 1 token in the store is automatically worth 5g 35s in the game, including items that were previously worth double, if not more, aka premium alkahest.

Premium alkahest was around 16g each, and now its true value is only 5g. If you don't need the alkahest currently, you need to sell it now. If you can't sell it before patch for over 5g, you've now lost 66% of its value because of these conversion rates.

    hmmmmmmmmmmm.

you cant get comond drooped by dungeon, but now you can get intrincade from very low and low tier lv 65 dungeons, so is no realy good example

im agree with the idea eme nerf tokens conversion ( if you want same like ktera, you cry like players in ktera) , but they still dont have enough balance, like tier 10 mes or other materials like craftting (like white dentrite, because they are very useless), somenting like 3 tokens x mess and 15 for blessed ( aka 5 per premium and 3 for mwa ), flood mats need nerf, but they need balance too

You can purchase CES (Common Enigmatic Scroll) from the in-game merchant for 5g 35s each.
The conversion table shows us that CES convert to exactly 1 token.
The conversion table also shows us that Premium Alkahest (16g each on broker) converts to exactly 1 token.
This means that if you have Premium Alkahest after patch, it is worth the EXACT same as CES, which means its price is now 5g 35s each, instead of 16g each.

Now, everything is priced its weight in tokens. Semis are priced at 150g because they are 28 tokens each, and 28 *5.35 = 149.8g.

    Hope this makes sense.

It would be even less if you take into consideration that if people are off line then the one wanting to buy will have to pay more than a common scroll, if you put your mats at 5.35.

So the value of those mats at the same rate of common scrolls are really about 5g on broker, if anyone want to sell it at the same price as common then better buy common from merchant.
  • Wanna reset the market? Fine, do it without [filtered] everyone up. Share this info before ppl hard invest in it. As someone said, we are not mad bc of the conversion rate, we are mad bc this info is released 1 week before patch. And this isnt something so hard to code that they just figure out the conversion rate. Its adjusting a value, they could have said something like, 1 week after Ktera got the patch. This is just eme [filtered] things up while fixing something they broke themself.
