Questioning why some healers even play healers

  • My goodness IMS is a scary place! Our Demokron Factory normal got a cancerous DPS and Mystic who couldn't do their jobs properly. The mystic never cast Vow for herself but died in the final boss. Had to remind her to heal the Tank because our tank kept getting low with no heals. We couldn't even kick the Mystic because she had queued in with a guild-mate. tumblr_inline_ncmif5EcBB1rpglid.gif
  • Lol ..so its not just me....I love to play this game and MMO's. I really want to be the best but sometimes I accept that I am not. I got flamed by someone and it was my first time in the dungeon. But... I have also had people who helped me and taught me. I appreciate that. What is the sense of playing this game or any for that matter if we expect everyone to be completely trained to the ultimate. Imagine if all the first timers decided to not play end game dungeons.....try and get your group then.....but to all the people who help and have patience...you rock and are why this and all MMO's work!
  • On earlier dungeon, it is fine to have a bad healers assuming they are just starting to learn the class. But as u reach 65s, things changes, mechanics, boss patterns and debuff is can be found in almost dungeon. Last night I was in a IM party for DFNM dungeon - the healer refuse to heal the sorc, res and cleanse the whole party during fighting with Verno. The story ends when everybody is died including me. :)

A priest ignored the DoT debuffs on us and just watch our tormenting death. Oh he attempted to heal us just to make us suffer longer lol.
A lancer only used auto attack and challenge shout. At least he knew challenge shout is an aggro skill.
A low grade gear warrior without ASTANCE fought scythe against a best in slot gear warrior.
A spacebar brawler/reaper/slayer that kept being knockdown because she got hit in the air.
A gunner stood 30 meters away and attempted to fire and explode arcane barrage.
A brawler that really liked to spam cyclone. Left, Left, Left, Right. Let's dance!
A sorcerer spammed Fireball with Burst of Celerity just like HADOUKEN!
A mystic used auto attacks at all time, He yelled at us to attack when we were panic because our HP were critically low.

So many people I met in IM. It is really fun.

tbh it's because healers are the special snowflakes of any mmo and no one is ever allowed to give them criticism because if you do, it always goes back to either "why are you taking damage in the first place" or "it's you not me" or "haha another noob blaming the heals"

You are always welcome to critique me anytime when I m in Velika. If I m busting my keister in a dungeon or in BG (which I always do), I tend to get hot headed with anything that isnt constructive. Can you also blame me for being a snowflake after getting kicked the countless IMS parties I ve been to? If the party dies, the first one always to go is always and will be the healer. It isnt fair that a running brawler who cant hold aggro gets a free pass while I get kicked! Even with my know how I m still trying to learn how to heal everyone effectively.

Anywho, I ve been a mystic main since day one and I m still loving it. The spinja patch has treated mystics well.
