Game slowing down to a crawl after 20 minutes
Hi all,
[I know that since this is about lag, it may not fit here. I didn't find any answers on the support site though, and I'm near 100% certain it's not a hardware issue.]
I'm a returning player to Tera, and I'm having an issue where after around 20 minutes of play, the game begins slowing down until it is unplayable ( < 1 fps). I've played Tera for a long time, and even about a year ago I played on this computer, with the only difference being I'm now launching from Steam.
My computer specs are well above what's necessary for Tera, with 16gb of ram and a GTX 980. I've tried adjusting graphical settings, resolution, fullscreen vs windowed, .ini files, and others to improve framerate. The framerate starts at around 100fps regularly, but once I'm logged in for around 20 minutes, crawls down until it's unplayable.
Completely exiting and restarting the game fixes the problem, but is horribly inconvenient. I haven't noticed any other posts about this issue.
Thanks for any help

I'm fairly certain this isn't the case, monitoring the memory in Tera. It stayed constant all the way through, even after the issue began occurring.
