Easiest class to gear up to end-game with?

So I just came back after a 1 year break and will check out patches to see what's changed.

However, as I am a slightly casual player, I've never made it to real end-game with the best or second best gear.
So my question is, which is the easiest class to get there with now?

If I play a tank (are Lancers decent now?), will I get into groups easier with weaker gear, and eventually get better gear and make money etc?

    if you eventually get better as a tank-you will make money, Any class is easy to gear up now-or let me put it this way, equally painful

    Usually priests require more skill than items. I think it's the only class that if you are a good one, you can go into the hardest dungeon in Dreadnought +12.

    This doesn't apply to everyone, but maybe brawlers too since they make so much dmg even in tier 8 stuff. I would say also, if you want to tank, go with brawler, they are top tank and dps atm.

    I think Brawlers would be the easiest class to gear right now. Tanks are always needed for dungeons and Brawler probably has the easiest time farming tokens on the Isle of Dawn. I'd rate Brawler over the other tank classes simply because of their (ultra-)high DPS rate.

    IMO Brawler and Mystic.

    Brawler because

    - faceroll
    - block
    - dps
    - people need tanks

    Mystic because

    - people need heals
    - recent buffs
    - skittles

    Quick question - does double XP from elite stack with the event XP boost? I can't quite remember.

    Yeah.

    You get double from event + whatever exp boost.


    Fun times to lvl up.

    Healers require the least gear, every other class requires at least Slaughter +12 to do good damage.

    1. Tank = instant matching without waiting. You just need +12 for all except SSHM.
    2. Healer= If you are decent, you don't need +12.
    3. Gunner, Ninja, Reaper = People want stronger DPS for PUG party.
    4. zerker, sorc, archer, war - people think this classes are lame for PUG party. I have seen really good +15 archer and sorc.
