    1. Unequip the brooch so that it's in your inventory.
    2. Click on the "Upgrade" icon located second to the left at the bottom of your inventory.
    3. Right click on your brooch.
    4. Gather the materials and click upgrade.

Depends on which quickcarve or empowered brooch you have.

If you have a simple quickcarve/empowered, unequip it, open up your inventory, left click the upgrade option(the icon with the sword and a circle), right click your brooch, and see what mats you need to upgrade your simple brooch to superior quickcarve/empowered brooch.

If you already have a superior quickcarve/empowered brooch, it's best to farm tons of XP first because the chance to upgrade either of them to a Quatrafoil is super low(base percent is around the single digits). The max XP you can cap on superior brooches is around 80k.

thanks! do i need to worry about trying to upgrade without all the items and my brooch disapearing?
is this how it works for upgrading your gear as well ? (ambush+15 for example)

The item you upgrade won't disappear, but it is possible to fail the upgrade (the game will show you the chance of success). You cannot attempt to upgrade without all the mats and the gold.
  • Is Quatrefoil Brooch is the highest upgrade besides getting Marrow from HH?

    It is.
  • im in the process or working it out but ..any idea how many Entropic Emblems and Metamorphic emblems you need to go from full +15 ambush to idk +9 frost gear?
im worried ill convert too many items to Entropic Emblems and Metamorphic emblems instead of selling some items for gold

Well, you upgrade to +7 frost right away 100% success w/ 1 Golden Talent. Then the rest is chance.

With how much gold you get from vanguards now, 100k isn't really all that much anymore...seeing as you get at leasy 600g per dungeon so its easy to make 10-20k per day per alt based on if you do all your vanguards (and which ones you do) and if you sell any extra things

100k entropic yes, its a lot.

100k metamorphic, is not that much but still quite the amount.
  • You can only buy golden and silver talents with entropics, so use your (lower) metamorphics for the rest of the mats. Also and idk why but jewelry exp seems harder to level up then my gear, though I am only on Twisted so maybe that makes a difference.
