since there doesnt seem to be a set bonus for wep+armor is it jus tbetter to try get your wep to +9 stormcry first ? and then try chest , gloves and boots last . right ?
i was thinking..upgrade accessories once, then get weapon to +9 then go for the rest on a dps.

    Get everything to +7 then +8 then +9 for the enchantment bonuses. It doesn't matter when you go from daylight>entropy because the success chance doesn't go up that much with item xp. If you wanna max the item xp that's up to you.

    how exactly enchantment bonuses work? ive been doing dg's and iod bams to get my xp up, but my original plan was to make my weapon +9 stormcry first..

    DPS would focus on weapon first, healers armor and tanks a mix - That being said after +7 you are blocked by a limit of waters available so you'd prob just deviate your materials to lower enchantments or upgrades.

    him talk about top tier progresion from +7 to +9 ( cuz you need essence, and they only droops in HH p3- p4, RKHM and victor boxes from somes bg ) , and the rate for enchant succes is the most low in the game ( you need a lot essences and they only droops in low rates, with lot chance to enchant )

    the reason why no more bonus from gear , is cuz you obtain power and endurance bonus from base stat gear ( you dont need enchanted for obtain)

    no diference between top tier +0 and top tier +9 in bonus set ( only minimal diferences in defense modificador for armor, and a little in atack modificador in weapon, and 2 extra rolls like 1% more damage )

    so i should go from +7 frostmetal to +0 stormcry on my wep (im a dps) and then go the rest of my gear the same.. and not try make my wep +9 stormcry?

    Unless you plan on doing Harrowhold and/or RK-9 Hardmode +9ing Stormcry is completely out of reach due to the Elemental Essence requirement for +8 and +9.

    // DPS & Tanks //

    If you do not plan on doing HH / RK9 HM for DPS and Tanks +7 your weapon first, chest second, boots/gloves last. Since you need Elemental Essence to +8 and +9 this is as far as you will go, and honestly is more than enough.

    If you DO plan to do Harrowhold and/or RK-9 Hardmode +7 your weapon as quickly as possible. Once that's complete proceed to spam as many dungeons as you can do to earn as much Gear EXP. Save all your mats and once RK-9 HM releases begin to plus your weapon to +9, then your chest, then your gloves/boots.

    // Healers //
    For healers.... honestly you don't need anything more than +4 Stormcry. However if you are bored and have nothing better to do upgrade your gear in the following order: Chest > Weapon > Gloves/Boots


    All in all going beyond +4 is completely unnecessary for anyone and is only there as a goal for players who are going to either swipe their credit card or those who plan to stay around for the next couple of months. Getting BiS gear this patch isn't required at all to participate in and compete all content.
