While I believe that looked at overall average dps, that was also last patch and things have changed slightly. People should really be comparing top percentiles to see what the people who can do the most with the class can achieve, and even then that's not going to be perfect. At that point, valks are pretty runaway with top dps, followed by warriors and zerks (depending on dungeon), while others are much more similar in numbers. This can show that all the classes have the potential to hit those numbers, but players have to put in the effort for gear, skill usage, consumables, party comp, etc, that all factor in to dps.

Warrior is vanilla. It is top tier dps. Zerker is vanilla. Slaying is the strongest dps in the game. It's just behind war and valk after that. It is very strong. Archer is hilariously strong for how quick it is to learn. Also vanilla. Sorc is still strong. Also vanilla.
Slayer suffers, but isn't horrible. There is a decent argument here, but nothing will happen because slayers have talents in Ktera.
In fact the bottom tier dps is currently ninja, and it's a new class.

Lancer is better than brawler? Really? I may have to dust the old girl off.
It's saying that they're about equal in power. If one was put above the other (example: if Mystic was at S Tier and Priest was at A Tier) then it would be saying that Mystic is significantly stronger than Priest.
Lancer has been much better than Brawler for several patches now.

Brawlers have to resort to unethical tactics to maintain aggro as well as not playing nice with team buffs.
Lancers have a better time with aggro, they have team buffs, they aren't an annoyance to the team they are with.
Brawler does more damage and can be played by an [filtered] mushroom, so more people like it.

Unethical tactics? What does this mean? They hit they boss to maintain aggro, just like every other tank including lancer.
Not playing nice with team buffs? They don't have any to use, so it's not possible to play nice or not play nice.
An annoyance? How is having a tank annoying. Would you rather be waiting for an hour to find one?
I will admit it is much, much easier to learn to tank on brawler for a new player due to GF, but all that does is increase the supply of tanks globally. If there was no brawler you'd still be waiting 45 minutes to an hour for a tank, and the forums would be filled with posted wanting more tanks.
