Etching breakdown?

Never etched before, but I hear it's expensive. I just upgraded a couple of pieces to frostmetal and I don't even know where to begin. There appears to be a lack of community resources.

    Heya,

    You can buy etchings, make etchings (preferable for accessory etchings in my opinion) or just use Island of Dawn currency to get appropriate ones for your class.

    I believe 431 ilevel allows you to get mid-tier and 439 top tier BAMs which would give you II and III etchings respectively.

    So, yeah, armour and weapon etchings are definitely not expensive (especially if you have alts) but a day or two of BAM killing. Accessory etchings might be a bit harder to get your hands on.

    etching from iod , perma II and perma III are no tradeable, and you cant sell them or dismanted,

    only crafted etching or from ace store can be trade/dismanted to superior etching cristal
