Nothing is ever enough. There's several events going on, its up to you to make the most of them.
Yep and none of them have anything to do with alkahest
People were justifiably upset about feedstock since the supply drastically reduced post patch.
But alkahest, on the other hand, increased in supply post patch!
Plus they just reduced the price of bonanza boxes today. You should be basking in the greater ease of getting alkahests, not complaining about it!
Never? As in before or after Masterwork Alkahest Box was added to Vanguard Supply shop?
Why are people complaining about lack of alkahest? It's so easy to get now. Even Dory from Finding Nemo can figure out how to get a lot of alkahest at this point.
New patches are supposed to put a strain on resources. They are supposed to incentivize farming and spending time. However, NA players didn't want to run a dungeon 10+ times to get geared so smartboxes became a thing. Now everyone has gear, and suddenly people are amazed that resources are in short supply? So now, after much yelling and screaming, feedstock is now flooding in like food stamps and pretty soon, the servers will be swarming with overgeared underskilled babyragers who find themselves burned out of the content a month after release.
The move from a vision document to rare VM7 design drops is a step in the right direction imo, but I believe removing gear smartboxes would further help the situation in the long run. The dungeon drop tables and gearing progression should mimic the first FoA (BR/SC) patch, where the best-in-slot is obviously hard to get, 2nd tier gear (discovery) is also hard, but not expensive, just time consuming. Finally, the return of a starter set (ambit) serves as a cheap and efficient bridge to the harder content. Not to mention this will also make crafting the 2nd tier gear (discovery/slaughter) relevant again. I'm pretty sure everyone is currently discarding the vernal sap and wood (and kalivan's dread skin/blood) the moment they pick it up.
Obviously, much easier said than done. Implementing changes that make it harder, rather than easier, to climb the gear progression ladder will obviously be met with a massive dip in the playerbase opinion trajectory. Did EME's changes and recent patches since FoA prompt some of this behavior to develop? Perhaps. But perhaps we as players should not forget the fundamental purpose of a progression system.
Soon enough everyone's going to be back on forums complaining that they're bored and burnt out of the patch with nothing to do.
Go plus +15 something right now during this event and come tell me how much you've spent when or IF it succeeds to 15.
It's obvious that you haven't +15'd before. lol. Come back when you do bud.
CH has MWA for 50-60g atm cause of this event.
When the double drop event ended, it dropped back to 40-45g.
