    Where do you live? Chernobyl?!

Elins are too thicc to be children. They're more like midgets.

With flat chests. Small people usually still development secondary sexual characteristics. I would agree that their thighs on evident of more mature women. The flat chested hyper feminine comes off as pre-adolescent girl.

Me perceiving the Elin as sexualized doesn't make me some kind of [filtered] who sees what they want to see. I can perceive someone as sexual and still not be remotely interested in it. Like all the other races running around in skimpy outfits.

The fact that you see Elins as sexualized children is creepier lmao.

Elins are pretty much anime lolis and you're extremely ignorant if you think anime lolis are an equivalent to CHILDREN in real life.

This is all a matter of personal perspective and this isn't something that you can just change about yourself very quickly. I suggest that you just leave, if it bothers you that much.

You do know where the term Loli comes from right?

It comes from Lolita which is a character from a book. A 12 year old who was groomed and sexually assaulted by an older man. The term means little girl. You can call them "Anime lolis" all you want. But they're still all based on children.

I see short flat chested youthful looking girls as pre adolesents. Putting them in scantily clad outfits is sexualizing it.

Hello My name is [Unimportant] and I love playing video games of ALL kinds. I recently discovered TERA. And thought it would be an interesting game. However I am somewhat disturbed by the playable race "Elin". It's not the idea of a cutesy childlike race that I find disturbing but instead the fact that their armour is incredibly skimpy. I mean it would be considered skimpy on an adult looking creature. Which I wouldn't mind in that case. But mixing cutesy childlike race and hyper oversexualized females is making me incredibly uncomfortable.

Any advice with how I can cope with this race, or should I just not attempt to play TERA?

Haven't you seen Female Castanics armors? Female High Elf armors? Female Human armors?

If you think Elins are oversexalized on their outfits then you shouldnt play he game at all becasue other females from other races are way more oversexualized than Elins.

The only ones dressing in a proper way are Poporis and Barakas.

I've said that I haven't an issue with the skimpiness. I have a problem that the child-like race is skimpy.
  • You should just see them for what they are, a bunch of pixels on the screen. Anything else is in the eye of the beholder.

My Elin looks like a thicc 4'8 20 year old that is trying to find herself while attending college and she happens to slay robots in kennels on the side.

How you create them can make a big difference in appearance. You are either trolling or far to sensitive. I'd recommended watching Jordan Peterson on YouTube, get yourself together , and come back to play with a proper outlook on life/ the game

Bingo. Take this issue as a blessing and avoid this game.

Some adult women are flat chested believe it or not.

i think it really all depends on the elin and the creator behind that specific elin. like... it's very evident some folk create their elin to be super "uwah moe cutesy" with giant eyes, high pitched voice, height changers to make them shorter, etc. like some very clearly put child-like features into their elin.

but on the other hand not all of them do. some elin could possibly pass for short, odd proportioned young women. plus not all elin costumes/armors show skin. so to paint a broad brush over all elin is dishonest i think, where the fault lies less with the race itself and more with the person behind the character.

just to show what i mean here's a shot of one of my own elin who i think i did a fairly decent job making her look like a young woman rather than a child.

You have to ignore them if you want to play Tera, because Elin is the most played race.

I find them cute and most players don't dress them in skimpy outfit anyway.

To me there is a difference between "cute" and sexual. The teddy bear race (can't recall their name) are cute. The Elin are sexual. Again, I normally don't have an issue with the sexualization. It's just harder for me to accept when the race is child-like. Put an anthro skimpy lizard in front of me and I'm cool with it. Put a creature that looks like a young human girl wearing a skimpy outfit, I'm taken aback somewhat.

    flat is justice B)
  • Make or join a Baraka only guild. It is the only way to totally avoid this glaring issue with the game. /s
  • Elins seem less childlike and more chibi to me.
