I play full time on Fey Forest, a labeled PvP server, but its not really a PvP server. Most of the PvP players have left and transferred to MT, which in turn has made the server worse. Theres not alot of circulation of items and gold. Let alone the design on the new patch hasnt made alot of wiggle room to even make gold. The only 'easy way' there was, was to sell golden talents. But anyone with half a brain knew that was only gonna last for so long because now they are worth 24 gold a piece or less. Many new players ( I run a guild that took in a huge wave a new or returning players) are having the worst time sticking with the game for these reasons. No lucrative way to make gold. Especially if you only play a couple hours. And the server has huge dead zone times. in the last couple days we lost another 15 players approx to MT.... they either need to just wipe FF off the game and merge us with MT or fix something...

    Highwatch was a "new" server released with the steam launch, was lively for a while but then died out after the Lucid patch, then merged with other 2 dead servers to make Fey Forest, so stayed dead.

    Fey Forest is short of active players running end game content and PVP.

    Fey Forest trade chat and trade broker are also lacking.

    Due to this patch encouraging players to focus on one main its more tempting to transfer.

    Also the ability to convert wealth into emeralds / diamonds helps encourage players to transfer.

    In fact, writing this post has caused me to consider a server transfer later this week.

    It would be nice if there was a way to deal with this problem.

    Yes! and its why so many active players that were here left... x.x but not all of us can afford to just transfer all our characters... and im not going to leave my guild members behind.

    With this gear revamp patch failing to bring much players in & back, and neither will elin gunners... they should just merge them all. 1 pve server and 1 pvp server.

    Since we don't know how many people actually play this game, (I'm just going to assume 30k people, because random numbers are fun), then at some point I think it'd be more than beneficial for EME to just buy one really big, really powerful server instead of five "meh" servers that we currently have. That way the population would almost never crumble, there'd always be people running stuff, and queue times would decrease because LFG would be able to reach a larger amount of people.

    That said, the Economy would be hyper inflated with all of the mats people would be getting and trading, so an economy tweak would be good if this were to happen sometime in the future.

    Another note: Most of my dungeons involved IM and they almost always clear the instance, however IM does not build the same sense of community that LFG does

    When you don't really play, and swipe just to pretend to have some influence over in-game trade, I'm sure anything seems fine.

    30k is extremely generous. I would be extremely surprised if TERA had even half that number. Also, I stand against lumping all play styles into 1 server (at least for the time being). One RP server, one PvE server, and one PvP server would be a good compromise. The economies would fix themselves after a merge, with no need for outside influence.

When i say the economy is dead, im referring to the point that there is no real way to make alot of gold. the only way there is, is to do dungeons. which really barely gets you by for gearing and im only at Frost... and im already feeling how hard the pinch is.

    liek for example to even afford the design to creat golden darics. id need to run at least a 3 star dungeon around 70-75 times to afford the design. Because i cant sell much of what i obtain in the dungeon other than talents... and they became worthless. This is a problem for players that play full time. Like myself. I grind easily 12-15 hours a day and i barely make progress. and im not speaking about anything under frostmetal. Thats not even in the same ball park....

    Again explain, because i play full time and there isnt. You sound like you "know" a lucrative way to make gold continuously that doesnt involve the 600-700 gold obtained from a vangaurd daily. I went from making 40-50k a day down to 10k or less easily. So i would love to hear you explanation. an not fluff comments.

    and the "way more things?" Um the only thigns you obtain in dungeons and dailys are enchantments mats. and the only enchantment mats that are sellable are the talents or emeralds/diamonds... everything else is account bound upon pick up. But if you played full time and were working towards end game content you would know that. and you would also know that emeralds and diamonds do not drop frequently enough to be lucrative because they are needed to enchant Frost/ Storm. So its not like you can go around and farm mats to sell because Most of them are untradable... The idea that dailys being the only way to make gold is stupid. Even if you did 16 dungeons a day on one toon youd make around 11k for that one character. BUT you also just spent At least 6 hours (if the runs were smooth with no hiccups and the DPS was amazing) straight to do them all. thats not a huge pay out for that much game play.
