Question about animation speed
So i decided to take my castanic male sorc out of the basement for a spin and I liked it a lot... so I geared him well.
Then I decide to get good with him like learning skill rotation, gear rolls etc. Then I read practically everywhere that having sorc elin is pretty mandatory because elins have a lot faster animations. So My question is if this still aplyes and if yes, is there a fix in the near future? Because I like how cool castanics male sorc look and to tell u the truth elins are somewhat out of my comfort zone and I dont want to change race :P (Sry elin fans out there)

If you are concerned about your damage mileage, race changing to elin will be necessary. Otherwise, it is fine.

I generally like very much chars that look weak but are powerfull that why I had my mystic elin but when I witnessed it running and I could clearlly see, for the love of god I could see panties so clearly after a while I could not stand it anymore and changed to popori race and that popori became my favorite race. oh well what can u do
Elins have faster casting on the main Sorc skills by quite a significant amount.
Slayer's got a couple of skills equalized, normally it applies to all classes but you need manually check them since the data from the client isn't reliable, i took a quick look and compared baraka to elin/fem casta and they're the same in speed.
It isn't odd still that somes have 1 skill or more faster or slower.
For example, first SB hit of Male High elf lancer duration is 525 meanwhile other races have 625/595 but the rest is fairly the same.
Another example, Elin's warrior pb is actually 100ms slower than any other race, Warrior as a whole is pretty equalized as well.
This is only taking into account the lock time, there's also the fact of the distance the skills move you which can be important to you or not in pvp or pve.
