Archer Crit Cap?

Does anyone have any idea how much crit archer this patch should have? I'm seeing ranges from 280-330. Right now, I'm aiming for 300 atm since the crit resist on bosses this patch seems to be a lot higher but I'm being outdamaged by archers with lower crit. Appreciated if I could get a feel for how much crit I should aim for, with and without mystic :)

I have 230 without group. Feels fine. Below that felt way more white attacks. Now almost always crits. Someone will say need even less but my number for solo playing also when you can't always crit from back. Also I counted that after patch crit resist of bams/bosses can be higher than before.
There is no such thing as full crit cap for archer. Even with keen motes you get white attacks.
I guess you're outdamaged because you have too much sacrificed power for crit that doesn't give so much after some point.
Also check the rolls for wep and armor.

I run +234 for 100% (in my experience) crits on Thunderbolt and Radiant Arrow, and for doing RK Shield. Any lower than that, and I start to get non-crit TBs and RAs here and there that get really annoying.

Haven't tested above +234; maybe it gives more Rain of Arrows/Incendiary Trap Arrow crits, but those two attacks have very large variances in their chance to crit.

How did u get +234 crit factor?I'm sitting at +210 crit factor but I'm not sure if I should increase this further without sacrificing too much power.
  • As far as I've seen, after you get +200 it's better to build power since your important attacks will crit most times anyways.

    Mystic gives Archers 72 Crit.

    Etchings+inners helps
  • @LYC14 that and upgrading your accessories will also boost up your CF
  • right now without a priest I'm @+240 and I feel like that's a little too much cause the total is 300. not sure if that's good enough yet

I'm at +242 and I still see the occasional white on TB and RA.

And yes, your tier on accessories helps a lot. I'm also running all crit factor jewelry and crit inners.

To give a slightly longer response.

The last few patches the bosses have considerably higher crit resist, so getting 100% even on crit glyphed skills isn't guaranteed. For archers, it's around +200 where you get the softcap (where more points in crit don't get as much gains in actual crit rate). At this point it's better to build power; you're never going to have a 100% crit rate anyways, but your thunderbolts will pack a massive punch (mine hit around 15kk on rk9 bosses)
  • 192 CF with Priest or Soloing BAMs, 90%+ in all major skills except RoA lel even you have Max Crit RoA will never be 100%. not bad.

Chunts guide on essential mana is old btw
  • well, with a mystic, I run 3 power and 2 crit daylight jewellery and I get around 292. as long as I always use FW before a thunderbolt, it's very consistent with a 100% TB
