yes they made money with your pain
but we can have 10 accounts per person
to avoid queue or too many people in farm spot for exemple iod, before we had more channels with more servers ofcourse it was when our tera had more people than today
bad server code requires this type of load balancing during mass events and such. Otherwise if we had just one server (considering server code is BHS stuff, it could even be a single machine per server), it would go down every time people decide to move around.
IF, on the perfect world, TERA had decent enough server code to allow multiple machines handling the same server, and it didn't crash when someone turns the light on (that used to happen to my fridge...), we could ideally have just a single server, with many channels and PVE/PVP channels separately. Chat would probably require channels too in that case, otherwise it would just flow WAY too fast.
In other words, enter the "TERA server" program, click on Options -> Configure servers -> Merge all. Under that sub menu (touch optimized so you can use the phone app to do it) remember to check the "Allocate all machines to selected servers".
Done.
Why no one does this!!
this all this, lets have 1 pve and 1 pvp then profited :^)
Endgame LFG can be empty for a lot of reasons, and it isn't only because "the server's dead". The proposal for cross-server LFG would solve the problem a lot of people have, but good luck getting BHS to program it. I'm sure BHS would say that IMS is their intended solution to solve this problem, but the NA community refuses to use it for end-game. So it's a problem.
Just for today 5 were gone.
and more importantly the fact that they transfer not from hate their own server
The reason is to seek the better game content which our server cant provide that.
They want to stay here of course if there is a things for them to play.
I have a lot of friends I play end game content with mostly people from my friend list , but not everyone have friend online at the same time.
Thats why they re struggle to play the game cause sometime they dont have choice except solo.. which those server is better to find LFG as solo playing.
Can't ims raid.
That is true, but I don't think they were only talking about the raid. That being said, even if BHS did make it so you could IMS the raid (as a sort of way to solve this problem)... people here would never do it anyway.
If BHS ever did that it only furthers pushes the point of their lack of understanding of party creation or lack of care for any other region. Ktera has 2 servers for a reason. Also I see a lot of server transfers specifically for raid, because the smaller servers actually just aren't clearing anymore. Most of CH's raiding pop went to TR, AV half of them gave up, rest came to MT or TR, and FF has their one static raid.
But as others have said, EME probably does not care for it. No profits to be gained.
ya i play on CH, and tbh the LFG most of the time totally blows but other than that it's no where near as barren and sad as HW once was, still have crowds of folk who idle in velika erping and junk
so it's alive if.... that's what u wanna do y'know...
It's just... not like that, people log from time to time and some time frames are different on some servers. Say, one server has a larger Latin population than others, so their log times will be different, and possibly they'll be on their own guild chats instead.
I play on AV, and even tho I'm not playing barely at all nowadays, I always find considerable amounts of people online in AV, chat flowing normally as it was when I STARTED this game, hordes of people fooling around in Highwatch and so on.
I frankly think that people have some weird expectations sometimes.
true. more friends or PK friends
