Question on IoD hi-tier bams

Vanguard quests for lo- and mid-tier IoD BAMs are all available and repeatable if your ilvl unlocks those quests for you.

What is the deal with the hi-tier bams (Giants, Hydraths and Battlemasters)? Just last night got my main into Frostmetal gear, so my ilvl became high enough to get the hi-tier IoD BAM quests. Was fairly late, but when I saw I had the quest for Battlemasters, I did the quest (because I could), and then logged out.. Today, when I logged in earlier this evening, I found that I did not have the quest for Naga Battlemasters (killed 4 before I realized no kills were accruing). Of the hi-tier BAMs, the only Vanguard quest I had was for Hydraths. It is no fun playing when you are annoyed at the game/gamemasters, so I stepped away from the game. I would like to know, however, if the situation with these BAMs is as it was before the patch--that is, one Vanguard quest for each hi-tier BAM type, one at a time, in an order determined by the game for each player--or some other variant.

if it's the same like before you can just take off your gear for a moment, wait a sec, slap it back on and your VG quests will get resorted and it shuffles your high-tier bam quests around. just keep doing that until you get the naga quest.
  • you can only do one of each high tier BAM vanguard per character per day, however there is a trick to choosing which order you want to do them in. All you have to do is lower your ilvl below 439 and then raise it. This is easily done by taking off your weapon and re-equipping it.
  • Thanks for the responses, that answered my questions. Much appreciated.
  • The limit on the high level is probably set to let players have a chance at rare enchantment materials but to not be able to spam that..
