archer has a pretty hard crit cap at around +200 CF, even then you will still white hit stuff, with a carving crystal, just saying

Then that's not the crit cap.

It is not a real critical cap, it is only the average amount you need to take into account, going above of that wont help you to crit enought to be worth to stack more cf and having less than that means you can consider to get a little bit more to get a more frecuent critical hit success.

There are not critical factor cap for any classes in Tera, even with Valkyrie, you can stack +400 critical factor, use a keen mote from IoD and you still see lots of white numbers on several skills.

Maybe using "critical cap" is not the best way to put it, it would be the "recomemded amount of critical" instead.

Just to make an example, I have seen warriors doing RK-9 and HH with +100 critical factor, but guides tell you to stack about +150/+200.

That just means that people have to think for themselves based on their main activity how should they stack stats and not follow guides to the letter as those are focused on top tier dungeons only.

There is a clear PvE crit cap on Scythe, Shining Crescent, Runeburst, Haymaker, Burst Fire, Thunderbolt, and Radiant Arrow when attacking from behind. The builds for those classes are designed to get 100% crit chance on those skills.

You shouldn't have always crit, it is working properly now actually :p

Explain skills like Scythe and Shining Crescent then.

shining crescent def doesn't crit 100% at least not lately

everytime you see white off that skill its the biggest FeelsBadMan

The only reason you should see white damage from Shining Crescent is if you are attacking the front or side of the boss. At +40 Crit Factor the skill crits 100% from the back.

even with a mystic and carving crystal i still white hit stuff from behind as archer. rarely, but it happens.

Then you do not have enough Crit Factor.
