Tabbing out

So why can't I tab out of the game all of a sudden?
Please tell me this is temporary.

    Just change it back to "windowed fullscreen" and there you go. If it's not working while set at that, try setting fullscreen, setting back windowed fullscreen, then check. If nothing then... well some issue with the windowed fullscreen.

    Yeah none of that worked.
    The screen is grey upon bootup as well, which is also different.
    I think it has to do with the hotfix, but I'm not sure and I'm hoping this is temporary.
    restricting access to desktop in fullscreen mode is not a good thing unless there's a good reason for it.

    As was suggested, it just has to do with being in "Fullscreen" mode instead of "Windowed Fullscreen" mode. If you're able to change that, then it will work. I'd check again to make sure it applied correctly.

    i've been having a similar issue during startup (the game booting up in fullscreen and not going into windowed mode immediately) despite being on windowed fullscreen and having edited the s1options file. hopefully there's a fix someone's found that works? o:

    The TERA client has a very bad habit of resetting certain settings out of the blue after some updates. Seemingly random as well, for me it usually resets the chain skill key on controller, and that windowed fullscreen mode to the fullscreen only.
    It's kinda a habit now to check random stuff before entering matches and such so that it won't bother me later on, cause it suddenly does this resetting at random.
