Calculation of the cost for FM gears
XP event is coming tomorrow, and lots of people are thinking of making more alts. One thing that people might be interested in for their alt is "how much does it cost to get Frostmetal from Guardian gears?". This is because;
1. Enchanting/upgrading is relatively easier than from FS to Stormcry(SC) +9
2. FM gears can have exactly same option rolls as SC gears so that the only difference is Attack/Defense modifier and options at +7,8,9 of SC.
3. There is tradable version of Frostmetal gears/box.
Guardian gears have 100% chance of enchant and upgrade so that it is easy to calculate the cost if you know the market price of "golden talent" and "entropic token". However, base success rate for Twistshard gears is 50% so that it will be a bit complicated to estimate the total cost. I just would like to show the estimated/calculated cost based on the current market price of golden tokens and tokens.
The condition of my calculation is below;
1. Golden Talent = 27g each (usual market price in MT server)
2. Entropic emblem = 5g each
- For enchant/upgrade of guardian & twistshard, you can SAVE the amount of tokens by converting your entropic emblem to metamorphic emblem since it has 1:12 rate, but the rate of mat price is 1:3. The rate of FM mat price is 1:6, FYI.
3. Assuming that you do not have any Gear XP and metamorphic emblem. If you think of getting XP and metamorphic tokens from Vanguard quest, you will need to think about the value of your time consumed to run dungeons.
As you can see, IF YOU SUCCEED IN ENCHANTING by one attempt at every step(100% LUCK), it will cost total 47,199 g to get +0 Frostmetal weapon
If you need 2 attempts for each step of Twistshard(50% LUCK), you will spend 82,856g to get FM.
