Blackguard's Tool Kit's

Hey I'm wanting to pick up some of the Blackguard loot boxes and was wondering if anyone knew the possible contents besides the outfit and the ratios of probability of getting the outfits and if its worth getting them also if anyone has any tips when opening them that has yielded more successful odds of getting the main item for any loot boxes really I realize its pretty much just all RNG but still

I dont play that box su I wouldnt know the odds but it depends how much yuu like the outfit tu even think of it being worth anything.
Also there is no way tu get more successful odds other than rumors just have tu hope rngesus loves yuu enough.
    Also here is the contents.

I'd spent over $115 trying to get it from these boxes before finally giving up. Either my rng is horrible or the drop rate is.
  • If it makes you feel better, I got mine on the 2nd box back on release day.

Getting some mixed responses on this but I guess that's to be expected :/

What did you do when you got it did you keep choosing the same slot mix it up or have like some sort of pattern that you follow when choosing?

It's all RNG. No matter what slot you choose. Choosing same or another or in order, it's all RNG. Nobody knows what's on those slots anyway. perhaps it's alll the same item already pre selected, or maybe there are indeed 4 items from the loot table. Thing is, nobody knows with RNG, only that as there's a chance to get what you want, there's also a slim chance to fail it infinitely as the chance never goes up or down. Each box is like starting from step one.

So big question is do you all think it's worth it?

I picked the same one over and over, and I continue to do that with every box I open.

ok thats what I was thinking of doing have you had much success that way beyond the one you mentioned?
  • Because of the way these are types of systems are programmed, the box you pick won't make a discernible difference. It is not like they pick in advance the contents of the four boxes and one of them is guaranteed to have a good prize, or anything like that. Whichever one you pick, it just feeds the randomizer, if it does anything at all. The most logical way to program it, in fact, would be for it to do nothing at all and just ignore the box you pick. So I wouldn't worry too much about the technique, personally. But if you're worried about RNG, the more "prudent" way is to save up the gold and buy the item off the broker, which basically just means that someone else dealt with the RNG for you. So long as the lootbox RNG in this game is unbound, there's always the chance of being unlucky.

I always estimate the odds at about 3%, but because it's unbound/uncapped, there are no guarantees.

Yeah but the problem with that is the only outfit anyone is selling is for the Ellin and they're pretty high in gold its usually just the tool kit maybe the occasional smart box but they're both ridiculously high I don't have that kind of scratch nor know how to make that kind of gold :/

I've had pretty decent luck with hello kitty boxes, 2 costume boxes from 5 loot boxes using the same method. However I agree with counterpoint, the number you pick just seems to be method of deceiving the player into thinking it is 'in their control'.
  • Another question does anyone know if the Black Guard Leathers are soulbound once equipped?
  • All costumes are soulbind on equip
  • Well......damn......so much for getting one for one race and swapping between other characters of that race -_-
