EMP elite cheaper than dollar elite

right now 4600 emp is $40. a 90 day elite is 3741. I pay $45 for 3 months of elite. Will I be refunded or...
$180 per year for elite or $160 for 4 90 day vouchers + 3436 emp.

Cancel subscription. Purchase voucher. Dont complain.

If you buy a voucher and apply it to your account, it will automatically extend your subscription by the appropriate amount of days (and it won't bill you again until the next due date). So... if you want to pre-purchase Elite now for a cheaper price by stocking up on vouchers, you can do that.

This is like saying you go to a store, buy a television the store doesn't have on sale, then go back the next day and want a refund because you see they have it for even less as part of a sale or promotion.

No, you won't/can't get a refund. It doesn't work that way. Follow couterpoint's instructions.

Just to avoid confusion, you don't even have to cancel your subscription either if you don't want to. It'll just extend it by the time.
  • Yep if you want it cheaper then stack on the vouchers now, its Black Friday discount after all, once in a year (3-4 days on EME store :joy: )

Similar to purchasing a game on Steam, and seeing it 50% off the next day.
    Displeasing, of course.
However, nothing can be done about it.

normally you know than the first year the game is full price on steam, except if the game is a buste, so you only need to wait one year before to buy this game on steam, the trick is to know than steam has 4 big sale in the year ;)
  • Not a complaint, pointing out a possible oversight and an attempt to make sure its out there elite is cheaper in the cash shop. From my perspective, why wouldn't the sale include subscriptions? Is it intentional or an oversight? Making subscriptions a bad idea as its cheaper to purchase elite via cash shop seems strange.
