Well that could give some more utility to the Metamorphic Emblems besides taking up all our space in the inventory / bank, I am with a ton of it and totally without utility, even if it were to sell by 1G in the merchant to have some profit, that waste. .

    sell to merchant for 2g80s

    1 token = 23silver, 10k = 2.3k
    not the best idea, but that's how you get them

    It won't take up space if you trade them for triumph keybadges (or any old mats that require large amounts of tokens) and stack them instead of keeping the metamorphic tokens as is, since metamorphic stacks can't go beyond 10000.

    p.s. I've been playing on other servers and not NA, so if the exchange ratio isn't the same for when you wanna dismantle keybadges into tokens again, then please disregard my comment.

    The idea was that you can't get the new top tier mats with all your old [filtered].
    But they messed up when the new content drops the trash emblems and you can't buy the talents with them (because they could be upgraded to plates..).

    For gold talents, farm low iod bams. For silver talents, farm sf/rg. The metamorphic emblems were added to the vg to help players players progress/gear up faster. They are not meant to be traded for profit. If they are really "trash" as you say they are, exchange them for mwa and sell to merchant or just toss them.

    You will need plenty of them when you start enchanting Stormcry gear. You need extraordinary amounts of artisan tools, copper clasps, and pansophic ashes which cost many metamorphic tokens per piece.

    Otherwise, you can just use them to get the feedstock/MWA and stack that instead. Those items get dismantled back into the same number of tokens.

    LOL. OP wants to "profit" not enchant. If he actually enchanted his gear, he wouldn't have "tons" of it. That's exactly the reason why the tokens are not tradable. With the revamp, they want people to play the game, enchant their gears, and progress. Also since the mats/tokens are not tradable, events can no longer crash the trade broker and people with extraordinary amounts of gold can't hoard the mats for profit. This also reduces the amount of botters in the game.

    @P2W I know people that are almost full +9 and still have tons of mats. The mats and tokens take up a lot of space. Vendoring the excess for profit is better than simply discarding, which is what OP was asking about.

    I don't think OP or anyone would want to sell the tokens at 23 silver each. You can always use the mats to gear up alts. It does suck that the metamorphic tokens only stack at 10,000. Maybe they can remove that limit?

    those people literally bought their way to that level, mostly by already having a huge reserve of mats and gold. I had rows of metamorphic emblems in my bank but when I hit stormcry, the artisan tools and clasps took care of this 'problem'.

    I have almost 60k of them and i am already looking for a bank tab just for them since its probably best to keep them if we might decide sometimes in the future to enchant Stormcry..

    I would also love to see them have some gold value but that is unlikely since these were meant to solely give enchanting materials..

    You can "compress" them down into Enchanting mats (Talismens etc) if you want to save space....I believe they're 1:1 on the ratio on the "Buy/Dismantle" ratio so there's that
