Rootstock

When Bamarama was turned on prior to Ninja patch, there was mention that Rootstock itself would be enabled post-patch. Can we get an update on when this may be happening?

Festival of the Sun should be starting soon, idk about Rootstock, thats usually in the fall.

I suppose Rootstock will happen this year on July, same as last year.
  • Yeah, originally they had wanted to implement Rootstock when there was a lull of nothing to do, but right now people are a bit busy so it's probably better to hold it for a little while longer until people need a new distraction. And yeah, Sun Festival + Beach stuff probably soon.

I do remember also that Rootstock was originally to be made into the Mid winter Festival to celebrate Harvest Season(?) but with the event happening in different dates through the years, i don't know anymore. Most likely we will have the Summer Festivities later this month, and right after they have finished, we will see Rootstock weeks later.

It's because, in the first year, it was added in the fall in K-TERA, but we didn't get that patch until the new year, so they ran it when they got it. But the intended timing is in the fall. Sometimes they run it temporarily at another time just as a bit of "filler" when there's a large patch gap.

This right here, I do remember that when we did get the event it made no sense because it was "out of season", the primary harvest (which happens during autumn) is the proper timing for the event as it portrays precisely that; we should be getting the Festival of the Sun and the beach event together as before, either in 3 weeks (june 21st, the beginning of summer) on a tuesday (or thursday as apparently most events start on thursdays) or early july. Roostock would most likely be during September as we usually get our Halloween stuff around mid October and pushing Rootstock to November might be weird but who knows... we'd need a confirmation on this from someone at EME.
  • Who cares about seasons, we don't even go outside to have any sense of reality. Fact is we need a new rootstock event since fihm and Ds2 depleted my supplies. We need it for the influx of new players with ninja and new hard modes.

I'm curious how DS2 depleted your supplies?
Heck you got all food buffs for free.
FIHM I could understand for say high score runs and whatnot but DSU...
My group(and we farmed like high heck we farmed) if you died then who cared about food buffs...easy enough todo queen without it..

If you add Rootstock, you gotta add Bamarama! I won a big jackpot in the weeks leading up to the ninja patch, and if I have anything to do with it, I will do it again!

My record in the weeks leading up to ninja patch: 6-3

    Edited to make more sense.

Freeholds has never been held at the same time every year. The first year it came out it was released in autumn, and ended mid winter. The second year it made an appearance in spring time I believe, and last year it took place in the summer time.

I am confident they will bring Rootstock back, as for when, your guess is as good as mine.

The regular Rootstock has always been in autumn. First time they released it winter/spring as the patch was late coming in from KTera and last year we got 2 bonus weeks after the Steam release.
