when is the winter event?

anyone know when the winter event starts up? me and my friends are all looking forward to doing it for the first time and wanted to know if anyone knew a timeline at all around when it'd start

    Wintera started last year on 7 dec but my guess for this year is maybe next week Tuesday or Thursday
    Seeing as there is no maint today

    Wintera 2013: Started on Dec the 17th

    Wintera 2014: Started on Dec the 11th

    Wintera 2015: Started on Dec the 8th

    Wintera 2016: Started on Dec the 7th

    So, we wait for this year's exact wintera date. There's no specific date for each year's wintera

    We will have. the wintera core event patch files are the same for every year. nothing new to import. They only change the files with the rewards

    Also usually we get Santa open world hunting for Christmas, hopefully this year we have better time lines.

    Assuming we have one.
    Wouldn't be surprised after the current delays.

    Looking at the dates we could asume next week we are going to have WinTera.

    The only year it hasnt come out on the second week of december is on 2013.

    All previous years Santas were activated around 2 weeks after wintera. So, normally i suppose we'll have 'em on around 19-21 Dec

    We get the Santas event too. Normally we'll have them till Dec / 19th - 21st, if not sooner
