Most profitable crafting profession?
What is currently the most profitable crafting profession to master? I feel like it would be weapon for plates and stuff but not I’m not sure.

i make a fair amount with weaponcrafting but with the demand of emeralds and how many are needed i gotta imagine alchemy can rake in a pretty penny as well...
Gotta check out it then.
honestly i find the emerald drop rate so underwhelming, the triple drop was very nice for stock piling them but the Sheer Amount that is needed to turn frostmetal into stormcry and then you still need them for when you finally hit stormcry... and if you have poor enchanting RNG that number sky rockets into silly numbers.
but for an active PVE server like TR i imagine there's a lot more emeralds in supply on the broker and such so that makes sense. last time i checked for CH the emerald listings were pretty scarce. in the end, weaponcrafting is prolly safer when it comes to making a profit.
Its weird how is more profitable to sell 8 emeralds than 1 diamond.
You can even make more gold selling rubies on broker than selling diamonds.
And if you think to make gold from crafting emeralds then you have to rely on rng as I have crafted hundreds of them and barely make profit from them. I have like 1 critical from every 50 craftings.
I think they sort of answered it with all the gem crafting talk. you never know when bhs is going to change things up, so that's why I suggested mastering all , then youre covered when the market for stuff changes. today might be gems, next month might be whatever.
I think you misunderstood what i said. Without relying on rng, you can sell emerald for 1.3k to 1.4k each to gain profits from crafting and people still buy those.
Diamond however, the crafting cost itself reach almost 3k per diamond. Therefore you need to sell at least 13k each to barely get profit and yet nobody willing to pay that much.
So my point is, if people want to craft gem they should only craft emerald.
Edit: You see im not trying to get profit from the rng, instead im trying to cover up my crafting cost by selling it a little bit more than it cost.
As you can see here, if u craft a diamond straight from rubies your cost is 3210g which mean you need to sell more than 13210g to gain profits.
As for emerald the cost is 207g. So if you sell an emerald for 1400g you already gain 193g profit PER emerald. And this does not includes the ultra rare crit chances. I dont know about other crafting profession, but this is enough profit for me.
True, I kinda heard about the gems crafting thing but didn't pay much attention (likely numb from all the "crafting is useless" thing). Maybe I'll complete the tests on my characters that are in-progress now.
they've gone from 75g to 55g in a matter of a few days and with the continuous influx i don't see that number going back up any time soon
