EU Event, Looks really Interesting, EME?

EU is currently planning an event, link below.

Seems pretty fun, and would gather ppl from the game to one server.

Could EME do something like this?

i'm not gonna lie that event sounds actually super cool..........

but mostly props to them naming an event server Manahan. glad to see some people out there still recognize he exists (lookin at you BHS.....)
  • Reminds me of Diablo 3 Seasonal. When season ends all the seasonal chars are being transfered to the normal realms :+1:

It would be nice to have it here too
  • Moving over to Tera EU sounds more and more tempting by the day. Ironic since i started playing here because of Gameforge's reputation but to be brutally honest EME hasn't exactly been impressing me lately.

I wish EME could hire Tera EU community manager. He seems to be a better event planner than ours...

Here's the difference. GameForge is not a part of BlueHole Studios, therefor they have more freedom of what events they can hold, and in what capacity.

Whereas here at EnMasse, the staff are limited and over-seen by BHS with decisions regarding events, etc. If BHS doesn't approve it, we don't get it. Simple.

Things are a lot stricter when you have someone having to approve each change or promotion you make.

Remember our test/Event server, Wonderholme? No? Ok then
  • Nah it's just to scam ppl on server trans... *notices free server transfer* OMFG this event is sooo coooool!

Great event to get ppl from EU back to EU servers, you can gear up quickly and then join a competitive endgame scene in a few weeks.

EME just likes to keeps us in the dark for too long. When there is a patch coming, EME usually were first to give the news and patch notes. That went down the drain once the old crew left the office. Gameforge by that time stepped up their game, while EME kept too much stuff from us until a day before update.

I would had hoped EME would give us a statement today on what could come tomorrow. Wintera Gifting Center? Wintera golden Gift Boxes? Wintera BG? Additional events? Rewards from the tokens from Wintera? where is all that info? Or is EME plans to release it 1 day before patch hits? while EU TERA is doing so with a lot of time to spare.

Honestly, I don't think this is a excuse, for me it's just lazzyness from their part.

I'm pretty sure events like this that are going to be held on EU needs aproval and help from BHS, since changes on the core of game are going to be made, so, the excuse of needing aproval... sorry I don't buy it.

On the other hand, the limited staff thing I can understand but yet if they can not meet the demand, they should do something about it.

    I call lazyness as well.

Tera EU actually made a madeshift Alice Dress. Granted it was just a blue colored parlor maid outfit but at least its better then the middle finger we got. It also proves Gameforge has some control over the games costume content.

Funny enough a modder actually fixed the real Alice Dress and released it as costume swap for the travel dress. So EME? What is keeping you?

Curious, should be the other way around. Eme is part of bhs and should have more freedom in regards to what they can do with the game. Seems like eme must ask bhs for permission for every small little thing. Update pvp rewards, ask bhs and wait for months. Improve dungeon drops, "will relay suggestions to bhs" and take months. Update of shops (vanguard, FC coupon), in the progress of asking bhs for months. And "months" is a pretty generous timeline for some of these...

Wondering why Gameforge can develop new content for their version of TERA, like with SCEM and now this Manaha server event and why EME, a subsidiary of BHS, does not have the same permissions or people to do so as well.
  • Did you see some of the BG changes they implemented?

Corsairs’ Stronghold: A new 30v30 version is also available. When you die here, you’re dead – only the last survivor can destroy the crystal!
Fraywind Canyon: No BAMs or monsters will be summoned in the existing version.
Fraywind Canyon: A new 10v10 version is also available. No BAMs will be summoned in this version and you require fewer points for victory.

That 30v30 CS sounds like fun. Why can't we have nice things?

EU has been doing so much better than us on patches and extreme events its not even funny anymore... We really need that Dsu extreme.
