Did EME even attempt to get them released here?

I really like the eu event and it'd be nice to see something like that set up here. Unfortunately I think eme is short staffed. They're already down a person since Halrath moved to a different game. Once they're able to fill in everything hopefully we'll be able to see an improvement.
Did WH test server event allow free transfer of one character to original server?
Granted they could have done a better job on the knockoff by giving it the signature striped kneesocks and market it as such, or better yet ask that modder for help to fix the real thing and just release it but at least they did more than EME ever did which was my point.
that CS sounds insane and i want it. just a bunch of healers surviving at the end trying to kill each other and break the crystal with their puny dps. gimme
Pretty much this.
If I remember correctly, Gameforge have, on top of the Dreadspire Revamp, Extreme Modes planned for Abcess, Kelsiak and another dungeon which I can't remember. Heck, I was chatting to one of the Gameforge staff about adding the skeletons from HH into DSU for funsies, but I'm not sure whether he got it to trigger the skeletons or not.
If EME could get the authorisation to run stuff like this, then we'd be in for a fun ride.
BHS is not part of Nexon at all, just for what it's worth. Nexon is just the Korean publisher for TERA; no impact on company ownership.
That wasn't even an event server, that was just a test server to see if a different routing would work for the main servers due to the ongoing issues they keep having.
This is an actual event server with incentives to play on it WHILE also releasing a decent event to both that server and the main servers. I know plenty of people who keep longing for DSU to come back, and this is exactly that plus some extra.
Yeah I actually miss Tonka, How to Slayer, actually got me into it, Aman Slayer, heartseeker strike missed eveything.
Greatest content ever: (has more)
No it didn't. It was entirely Wiped , which sucked because I had some seriously awesome stuff there
I know it didn't I was just wondering how did @Vinyltails found any similarities between WH and upcoming Tera EU event...
It was a test server where they ran various server-specific events (fast leveling, various BAM spawns, temporary cosmetic prizes), etc. so it's a tiny bit similar, but this is obviously quite a bit different since this is designed to be an "alternate server" where you can transfer back home later, whereas the other was a "temporary server" just for fun (just to test the datacenter/network).
The reason they can probably do this is because, with this approach, they don't have to worry at all about long term implications of future updates (etc.). They can mess with the server settings all they want, and by the time the next update comes the server's gone anyway. (The biggest reason they don't make direct changes to live servers anymore is because of the monthly update problem.) So it's an interesting strategy to do experimental things and get feedback about what people think. The door to do is was probably open once K-TERA did their own test server for the new patch changes. It's probable that EME could do something similar, but their focus right now is probably setting up the test servers for TERA Console, which Gameforge isn't involved with at all (even in EU).
