So... can someone perhaps at least attempt to answer this one?

Why do Tier 3 IoD BAMs and The Pit still have a Vanguard Quest-centered item level requirement of 439?

    No idea. Did 5 for quest at 433 as archer and it fine. At that point I didn't have even few glyphs.

    Its doable at a lower ilv but this is mainly about tiers, low, mid, high and the enchanting chests contain items required by the corresponding tiers, also i prefer not spending a vanguard request on PoP so that i can use it on something more useful, when doing it on ilv 432 characters.

    I think the main draw of PoP is that it's a quick run. However, you have to run it multiple times for a slight chance to get an emerald, etc. I think setting the ilv lower would make sense because there's a strong possibility that you won't receive anything of value.

    I think part of the confusion with the tiers is that Frostmetal is still considered to be mid-tier. Twistshard is somewhat low tier, which is why it's pretty easy to get.

    That means nothing. A diamond can drop whether you have the ilevel or not. Changing ilevel to 0 or to 1000 wouldn't change that.

    Reread what 6R1MM01R3 said: The ilevel of IoD and Pit are based off of the VG rewards. The item crate has higher level enchantment items, which is why the requirement is 439.
