Power leveling

Hello,

So i have a lvl 65 character already but i made an alt and wanted to lvl it faster instead of going through too much hassel and i already have a friend who is lvl 65 who can help me out in doing so, so can someone tell me whats the best way to efficiently lvl up fast to lvl 65? basically i want the actualy power-leveling tactic working atm.

Thanks.

  • Level 1-11: Tutorial
    Level 12-30: BAMs outside HW
    Level 31-59: SOLO/DGs
Level 60-65: Have your friend carry you in level 60 DGs

    That's the fastest way
  • Btw you can't TP out of the tutorial area anymore
  • carry yourself in kumas

I kinda disagree, with a 100% xp boost from kumas/elite and any other boosts that stack, running dungeons gives faster xp. This is because xp boosts don't apply to quest exp, only hunting exp.

FYI, the 50/100% exp boosts and elite 100% xp boost don't stack, so the max you can get from just them is 100%.
  • I've leveled like 37+ lv 65's, this is what I do. Remember to buy innerwear and send it to your new alt, it helps a lot. And something like 1k gold should reduce a lot of headache, also maybe a mount, and everful nostrum thing if not elite.

    Level 1-11: Tutorial
Level 12-20: BAMs outside HW (I don't but it would be faster)
Level 20-56: SOLO/DGs (If you can Solo instances to avoid queue times but takes a bit of skill and you gotta take care of your equips)
Level 56-65: Have your friend carry you in level 60 DGs (you can get carried by a lv 65 in LoT and upwards)

I like to run dungeons so I can get equips as I go instead of having to stop and fund a char. You can powerlevel a new alt to 30 if you would like but you're left with no avatar weapon. Also with double exp buffs you should reach the level to go to the next available instance if you manage to solo a dungeon till NT.
Most classes should wear a tank setup, 2x pounding, 1 wrathful and 1 focused as you can't really catch the back alone, if the boss turns look sideways to attack since as long as you're not looking at their back wrathful will proc. Also this makes mob grinding easier.

If you can't solo instance bosses, there are a few instances where the mobs inside it before the first boss are worth a lot of exp so you can reset every time you clear out the mobs for faster exp. This applies for BoL, SM, AoS (hands down the best example), CR, NT (getting slow but you can do it).
GL and up is pretty terrible for this method. Grind through partying, or kumas till you hit 56 and proceed to carry yourself.

  • I just solo bams around my level until 60, then I do the quests, then I might grind the bams until 65. only takes me a couple of days playing and watching tv while playing. easy peasy lemon squeezy .
  • It's fastest queuing dungeons and doing vg while waiting for pop. +12 All your gear, makes for easy carry mode.

Fastest way to level in a premade 5 is dungeons all the way to 60, get vanguard set from storyline then rush sabex/mc to 65. If you don't have elite, get one kuma's win first.

Fastest way to level solo is BAM quests. Avoid turning in quests if you are hitting 65 in a day because you can still get some gold rewards when you hit that level. The miniscule amount of experience that is given is not worth the vanguard badge, unless you are playing for a limited time. (By avoiding I mean not claiming the rewards till you are levelled enough then claiming before going to the next set of bams). Same thing, if you don't have elite, get one kuma's win first for the xp boost item.

I have done both ways to 65 in under 48 hours, taking breaks half the time, and actually having proper sleep.

  • Just started playing again for the Elin Level Event. As said, winning Kumas Royale is a fast way to level up, given your win/loss ratio. Surprisingly, my ratio was higher than 50%, so I leveled up in .. 3-4 (?) days. Anyways, that was so fast that I leveled another Elin Gunner, also roughly 3-5 days. I should add that didn't play the whole day.
