About gearing solely through PVP

Ok, i hit endgame recently, played some dungeons, and really didn't liked that much.
I want to know if it is possible to gear up in Tera by only playing pvp. Maybe some of the solo missions, but definetly not IoD bams, and the boring 165317 hours per run dungeons... Anyway? Is it possible?

Gearing up throught PvP is more about luck than anything else.

If you don't want to do dungeons then it would reach the new patch before you can get a top tier gear.
  • I will take you about 4 months tbh if you do like 20 fwc a day getting average luck from boxes
  • If you pay real money for emp, you can gear up quickly regardless of whether you do pvp, pve, or none at all.

Just throwing this out there since you didn’t say anything out paying real money.
  • Ok, let me be a little especific: my goal isn't really to get BiS, only decent equipment suited for pvp. Actually, i don't know much about pvp, i know there is some kind of equalized gear, but i see lots of people talking about "lowering iLvL", so maybe they aren't that balanced, i don't know. I want to play pvp, and have fun doing so. That being said, my question is: can i, by playing pvp only, farm the gear that will make me comfortable to play pvp, without thinking that everyone else deals more dmg than me? Or should i have a PVE character to farm gold and materials for my pvp guy? Or gear actually doesn't matter that much in this scenario?
BTW, I'm not paying real money to this game, although some of the costumes tempt me...

You can, but the hardest mats to come by will probably be the talents. The way to do this is to play FWC, during the peak discord community hours.

You can start playing in Unequalized gear when you reach i lvl 449. Which is around full SC, with +4 wpn.
