One Step Forward, Two Steps Backwards

Last week patch of December 14 updated the loot tables for several dungeons were players could obtain specific materials from dungeons. Dungeons that will only drops gold talents, some that will drop silver talents and others that will drop enchanting materials. This division of the materials made it easier for players to grind materials they actually need and want instead of getting a mix bag of useless stuff they don’t need. Specially because before this patch you will get 1-2 silver talents per run of whatever dungeon you decided to run, which is outrageous for the amount required to upgrade jewelry. With the updated loot tables, you could efficiently farm silver talents in a more rewarding way. Todays patch reversed the updated loot tables and gave us once again the mix bag loot. My question is: was this intended or it was a mistake and it will be fix? Because it this was actually intended it is a completely maddening and utterly senseless decision that proves once again the disconnect between the publisher and players. This entire month so far and half on Novemeber has been focus on nothing more than events revolve around buying emp. It's very disheartening and it completely shatters any motivation to play. I will be hopeful and think this was just a mistake, but with EME we can always expect the worst...

If it was intended, this is why we need to have some kind of communication of why there is maintenance if there were any changes and like post on the website so we all can see. Like most games other games I have played, when they do a maintenance, they would list the reason for it after the servers are up. In tera, well none of that is to be found and instead we find out in game by mystery. I'd be upset too especially finding out in game things were changed and not communicated to us. But hey this isn't the first time this has happened lol. Cough...

OP, If what you say is true about dungeons drops being reversed at their previous state then again certain dungeons lose purpose to being run because you as a player that needs gearing up faster will avoid SF, just to make and example.

I hope EME/BHS can think about this because having dungeons droping specific maths makes players to not avoid that dungeon always, because as things are right now you can run only 2 dungeons and avoid the other 4 and reach Frostmetal or above, making the other 4 dungeons dead on IM and LFG.

You mean by the "mysery" and not mystery since once again we are being shafted.

I only hope that this was not intended though they are giving 1/3 less talents than before even if mixed together so it might have some certain purpose.

ive noticed this a lot with patch notes recently.

whoever is writing patch notes is not doing a great job at the moment.

compare JTera's patch notes vs ours, it's like 5x longer
and japanese usually takes up less space when writing...

For the love of God will EME address this... It is so hard to let us know if this was intended or not?!?! Like if you instance match and check the reward box it still say that the loot tables are divided instead of being mixed but when you run the dungeons the loots are indeed mixed, so I'm like WTF?!?! Which one is it EME?!?! Can you patch your game properly for once and let us the players know what is being patch, instead of giving us vague and useless patch notes. This is deeply frustrating... plus no Christmas event, what we get is just another give us your money event.
  • They probably didn't know this even happened and are too preoccupied with other mEME games.
