Actually, it would have been kind of funny if they sent everyone a Titan's Fire with a message "You've all been naughty boys and girls this year - Merry Christmas!"
With that said, I still find it strange that we didn't have a Christmas event (besides Wintera). I believe we've had one for the last few years, which is why a lot of people are disappointed. Even the "Extra Life" event was decent (Ultra-Hyper-Fire-Turbo-Time, Battleground rewards, etc).

and the next event they announced to start was the new years eve nite one and that every one should log in prier to your time zones midnite
