Great instead of actually making x-mas events they send us useless cards..

Somehow you've perfectly captured the TERA forum's deeply emotional, utterly irrational, and completely impotent anger and bitterness in a single succinct sentence. "If you had five minutes to spend signing Christmas cards, you should have be working harder on giving us something other than Wintera and cash grab events, you lazy [filtered]! This is a symbol of all that's wrong with TERA today!" They're [filtered] Christmas cards! LOL I desperately want to hear they have a forum drinking game by now, even though I don't drink.

Seriously, man, the cards didn't get in the way. Trust me.

I get your point, but it was actually exciting to receive a card from the team. Several people in this thread agree that it was a sweet thing for them to do and that they enjoyed it (like I have). Also, it's not like they wasted their time sending a couple of greeting cards out. Events take time to plan and execute. Signing a couple of preprinted letters and mailing them out is easy and fast.

I didn't get any, and I white knighted EME like a [filtered] whole 2017, fawk u EME :rage:
  • I got nothing, but then again i never paid with real money towards this game just my time
  • Whiteknighting them will not get you anything. The more important question is did you spend money on EMP?

they send some people useless cards not all of us. really nice way to promote elitism . those that got one and those that didn't. people are going to feel extra special now.
I wonder if player council members got cards?

Could have also made an online version on the website wishing happy holidays/merry christmas.
Curious, why only for a few players?

Spending money would garantue you to get a christmass card?

I think this is more about your local (or international) postal service can reach the address you give on your payment method.

The Address you give on your payment method. You put your address there because you spend money, right? And I never said that it would guarantee. You added that word.

Welp, it's been a while since I used the payment method but how else do they get your address if you never paid?

I did not and none of the other council members have mentioned receiving one. On discord Discodolly mentioned they sent out like 600 cards. I think it's random who got them.

I added that word on a question. Did you even noticed that?

A simple question I made because you asked to another user if he spent money on EMP and after that I asked if that would garantue anyone to get the card. So, what's the issue for me to add that word in the question I made? I never implied you say it, right?

Seems like they mostly mailed these out to "spenders" who haven't played in awhile? Interesting marketing gimmick!

I think half of the people talking out of their bums about eme using cards as a marketing gimmick need to actually read other posts in the thread. Namely this one:

One of the last few Reich streams showed this , was while they were on one of their BHS meeting trips and receivers were random players , even back then wh n they showed what they were doing and the posting of these postcards receivers were still kept anominus for the surprise

I should add....this thread was made out of pleasant surprise and thankfulness towards EME.
And yet, 90% of this thread is a pile of accusations based on little to no evidence, and whining in general.
That's our TERA community. Good job. Not that I'm surprised.
